there was some recent collab with a bookstore and some official art of chibis in apron (remarkable because we never get new art) so i drew fanart of them having a slow day at work because why not. The merch is too expensive from what i understand and also limited to early june, but i appreciate having more official art where i can color pick from (i've always loved those sandy hues for their hair).

hi! how long does it generally take for you to finish a drawing? (maybe for something like your recent "marking" askebjorn comic?) i hope you don't mind me asking, i love your art so much and i'm sure you put a lot into it but your style and consistency makes it seem almost effortless somehow, it's really inspiring!

Thank you, and that question doesn't have a clear answer because it depends a lot on what i'm trying to draw. Overall i think i doodle quite fast, but the time it takes me to finish something depends on things like mood, enthusiasm for the thing i'm doing, the complexity of the thing i'm doing, and adhd medication (lol). That askeladd x bjorn comic you mentioned was a breeze to do for the most part, because some panels are referenced from shots from the anime and panels from the manga (specifically the panel where bjorn is looking up at askeladd and the few close ups to askeladd's reaction), but then the panel where askeladd is biting bjorn's neck made me struggle an awful lot because askeladd's head is so fucking difficult to draw at certain angles, so... i think the whole thing took me around three hours, but 90% of that time was spent fighting with that stupid biting panel. Then there's the askefinn "mind's eye" comic, which took me weeks because i struggled a lot with landing the idea and deciding how i wanted to communicate what i wanted to communicate. It was hell, i remember suffering a lot with it, but it ended up being my favorite thing i've posted on this dumb blog. It makes me happy whenever i stare at it.
