Fire Ball VIII Performers: SS-Triple-X Queerella Fistalot is a gender-bending tigress, who walks the line between a boy, a girl and a robot. She's an extreme masochist with a penchant for fire, fisting & flesh-piercing.  Prepare to question everything you ever believed in. Ammunition is resident brick house bitch to Chicago's most notoriously wild party, Porn and Chicken Dance Party. You can find her performing all over the nation, breaking laws and burning things. She is locked and loaded. The Texxxas Chainsaw Masochist! Candyxxx is a veteran of the performance scene, a professional pervert, and a natural born bad ass. She plays with fire, she plays with sparks. She'll put needles through your heart. Audacious and asinine, boldly perverted... we are SS-Triple-X, the Sinister Sadists from Chicago.

Fire Ball VIII Performers: Pyro and Penumbra   Pyro and Penumbra is based out of Milwaukee touring throughout the Midwest and beyond with their blend of fire spinning and various dance styles (hip-hop, Irish step, lyric jazz and more). Pyro & Penumbra has spun at various events and festivals including Custer Fair, Navy Pier, First Night Evanston, renaissance festivals, and most recently a member of our ensemble spun during the opening ceremonies for a theatre festival in Turkey.  This is our fourth Fire Ball and every year gets better and better!  We cannot wait to see what all is in store for this year!

Fire Ball VIII Performer: Jeez Loueez JEEZ LOUEEZ (Chicago, IL)  is an award-winning performer known as The Honey Badger of Burlesque! A lethal combination of drama, hilarity, and killer kinetics, Jeez Loueez is a powerhouse that’s taken stages across the country by storm. Whether donning a mohawk and her patented “Stank Face”, or serving up classic, glamorous striptease, she’s a consummate force that’s quickly become one of the most memorable personalities of modern burlesque. Jeez took home the titles of Miss Viva Las Vegas in 2012, Shimmy Showdown Champion in 2013, and Southern Fried Burlesque Queen in 2014. She's been voted into the Top 50 Burlesque Industry Figures worldwide since 2010 and broke the Top 20 in 2013 and 2014.  A skilled improviser with impeccable comedic timing, Jeez Loueez also charms as the host/producer of Jeezy’s Juke Joint: A Black Burly-Q Revue in Chicago and The Roux: A Spicy Brown Burlesque Show in New Orleans. A lover of all things behind-the-scenes, she’s been involved in the Show-Me Burlesque & Vaudeville Festival since its inception in 2010 as a headliner, host, associate director, and education director. Never one to rest for too long, she frequently tours with Foxy Tann and the Wham Bam Thank You Ma’ams, teaches at Van Ella Studios in St. Louis, and travels the country with her popular Twerkshops and master classes.

Fire Ball VIII Performer: Cycropia Aerial Dance    Celebrating over 25 years of flight, Cycropia Aerial Dance blends modern dance, athleticism and the magic of defying gravity through the use of trapeze, aerial fabric and custom steel apparatus. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Cycropia was formed in 1989 and is one of the oldest continuously-operating aerial dance troupes within the United States. Fire Ball VIII Performer: MC Tamale Tamale is a stand up comedian and interdisciplinary performer who travels internationally with her fierce eyebrows. Voted runner-up for Chicago’s Best Stand Up Comedian for The Reader, Tamale is a regular at The Laugh Factory, Zanies Comedy Clubs, and countless local and national showcases. She’s been featured in national Comedy festivals, such as the Chicago Women’s Funny Festival and international Festivals like the Dublin Lesbian Arts Festival, where she was the International Guest of Honor. A cast member of the groundbreaking R.E.A.C.H. (Risky Eclectic Artist Comedy Hour) at Second City, Tamale is an alumni of the Second City Conservatory Program. She’s also a graduate of I.O. Chicago and Annoyance Theater and created a unique improvised show incorporating the creation, presentation, and performer interpretation of tiny hats called Tiny Hat Time. Before she recently turned her focus to producing Brass Chuckles weekly, Tamale also helped to launch and proudly co-produced the amazing showcase and open mic, Just Dickin’ Around. She travels the world far and wide as a comedian and gender performer, co-producing the internationally touring gender performance group, the Windy City Blenders. Tamale is one the few members who has been on every one of their tours, traveling to Canada and Europe, then booking side tours of her own in Germany, Italy, Ireland, and more. She loves performing burlesque and drag, fire dancing and belly dancing, and often incorporates them into her comedy. A regular in the storytelling scene, she is currently working on another one woman show, based on her experience of finding a two-way mirror in a bathroom, documenting it in a video that went viral, and the subsequent change in the law around privacy violation that followed. With a BS in Agricultural Education and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts and Media, her comedy occupies a wide spectrum, but never disappoints. Tamale also loves to shoot guns, skydive, and ride her giant motorcycle with an eyelash …because she has a lot to prove. After six continuous years of sell out performances the Midwest’s hottest and freakiest night of entertainment will unfold over two nights in 2016. For year number eight the Fire Ball Masquerade returns to the Majestic Theater, 115 King Street, on January 29 and 30.

This year’s theme is Fire Ball Masquerade: Eighth Wonder of the World. Travel around the globe and through time as the Fire Ball masquerade performers act as guides to the mysterious, spectacular, and outlandish.

Over the last eight years guests to the Fire Ball have witnessed cutting-edge burlesque, over-the-top bellydancing, roof raising opera, edge-of-seat acrobatics, and many more superlative inspiring performances. The Fire Ball’s show doesn’t end at the edge of the stage, because our attendees add to the atmosphere by showcasing their often elaborate costumes.

Performers will be unveiled over the coming days. VIP tickets on sale via Kickstarter on October 16 at 6 p.m. General admission tickets will be available in late-November.
