What am I currently working on right now? Oh you know, not that much, just
Writing a book series, making an animated series, sewing plushies, making social media art, completing tomodachi life (basically getting all the wishes), taking commissions, writing fanfiction, not to mention I have to get my redbubble shop back up with new designs
This is chaos, but it’s honestly what keeps me happy and stimulated
I saw this idea for making ocs, basically you write down 2 or 3 fictional characters you feel fit the vibe you want and put them in a blender. Or you can go “It’s this character, but…”
Example for a story I’m working on
“This character is like Jax from tadc, blended with applejack from mlp. Ie he’s brash and can get on people’s nerves but mainly does it to hide how much he loves them, he is also selfless and brave and will throw himself into danger to protect others”
I’m just so tired of everyone’s attention spans gradually getting worse and instead of trying to combat it so high quality content can still be made and enjoyed, big companies that make shows or games are making shorter stuff. I want my 20 episode seasons back, I want my 30 minute episodes back, I want my large amount of post game content back.
I refuse to live in a world where no one can wait. We need to start teaching kids patience again, they’re allowed to be uncomfortable while waiting for something, they have to learn it’s okay because adult life won’t be constant stimulation and enjoyment.

I’ve been seeing ads lately for an ai fanfiction writing app, and like??????? Fanfiction is supposed to be a labor of love to the source material, using ai shows that you really don’t care what actually happens in the fanfic, you just want clout. I get that fanfic is hard to write, but working through it shows how much you truly care about the source material and how dedicated you are to giving the fans more to munch on.
Also, I care so much about my writing and the little minute details like adding poetic lines that I know ai would make something I hate. And/or it would kill off a character and traumatize me.
I'm realizing that I never posted my Caine headcannons here. I'm just proud of myself for drawing Caine in the way I wanted him to look. Like, he doesn't have a proper head but I did draw a fake head on the sketch just to get a sense of perspective.
One of my favorite things about writing fanfic is that you can just make stuff up and as long as there’s nothing in cannon that explicitly disputes it, it’s just true in that context. Yeah Pomni played retro RPGs as a kid, yes Ragatha was a horse girl even though she didn’t have any horses, yes Caine has more human needs after separating from the blue AI.
Some Digital Circus ocs I’ve made that I plan to feature in a later iteration of my fanfiction. Janka is based mainly on calico critters and Kiltie is based on patchwork quilts, but if they were the wings of a dragon
I feel like many autistic people find it hard to describe the feeling of interacting with a special interest, and for good reason. When interacting with a special interest you’re often not aware of your emotions or bodily signals, so it’s kinda hard to tell what you are feeling. But I’ve had moments where I thought I was having a panic attack when interacting with a special interest, mainly undertale.
So yeah, if I had to describe how I tell what is a special interest and what it feels like for me. I’d say it’s like a happiness attack, an explosion of love and passion that sends your heart racing and your brain short circuiting in the best way imaginable.
Thinking about how I had an English teacher in high school who would try to teach us the nuances of grammar. I was really bad at figuring out stuff like the arrangement of “her and me” or whatever. Some things I don’t even remember the name of because they clearly weren’t important. But for a while my self esteem was really bad because I struggled to learn these things, I thought it would impact my creative writing. Then I heard the phrase “language was created to be understood” and it really clicked. Like, as long as your reader understands your writing, it is okay to make minuscule mistakes.
No one is going to look at your beautiful prose writing and suddenly chuckle because you used the wrong there or something.
Something I don’t think people understand about depression is something I call thoughtless or silent depression. It’s basically where you’re just sad and unmotivated, but there are no bad thoughts going on in your head to justify it. You’re not losing motivation because you feel powerless, you literally don’t have the mental capacity to do the things that make you happy.
No amount of kind words, therapy, unlearning bad thoughts, or journaling will ever fix thoughtless depression because it is not coming from bad thoughts. It’s coming from the brain being unable to produce some sort of happy chemical in the right amount.
Usually this means you should start taking antidepressants, but for me it actually meant I had ADHD, and the reason the SSRIs I was prescribed weren’t working as well is because my body didn’t have enough seratonin to go around in the first place. It simply wasn’t producing enough happy chemicals. It took me so long to realize that adhd might have been causing my severe depression and drowsiness, but it all makes sense now because people with adhd often struggle to feel rewarded after doing tasks.
TLDR: sometimes depression can’t be solved with coping skills, sometimes you really need medication or to seek a certain diagnosis which can get you prescribed different medication.
So, have you ever been building a world from the ground up, and you have the basic ideas but you need to add the basic lore before answering the deeper questions?
Well, here’s a list of very basic world building questions you can answer to get a basic vision of your world. (This is going to be a bit long so buckle up)
Who inhabits your world? Humans or some other race? Are there multiple intelligent species or just one? What is the culture like of the beings who inhabit your world?
What does your world look like? Now you don’t have to have a full map in your head, but what types of biomes, landmasses, or general locations does your world have, and where are they?
What is the history of your world like? You don’t have to flesh out all of it, but what events are important to the beings of your world? Think if you were teaching a high school level class on the history of your world, what units would you include?
Your world can’t be uniform in culture, so what kinds of cultures are there and where are they mostly found? Think about the things that influence the culture of a specific place, like climate, food sources, and folklore.
Speaking of folklore, what do the people of your world believe in that might not be true? Do they worship gods? Do they have their own cryptids? Or do they simply think some things that are an oversimplification of how things actually work?
How is your world run? What type of government dictates how people live? You can also ask this question for each settlement/country.
What non intelligent beings inhabit your world? Which ones are farmed or kept as pets (if any) and which ones are left to roam in the wild?
Obviously this list can be expanded with reblogs, but these questions should give you a basic idea of what makes your fantasy world tick so you can start answering the deeper questions.

My friend is embarrassed and thinks she’s the only one and I said id prove her wrong.
I’m a high school graduate and I am mentally required to sleep with my stuffed dog I’ve had since I was a baby.
Just to clarify something, I use he/him and she/her mostly interchangeably for Jax. But if I’m talking about cannon in episode Jax, I’ll use he/him. But if I’m talking about Jax in my fanfiction/headcannon, I’ll use she/her and sometimes the name Bella which I came up with on my own for if Jax ever changed her name.
I’m not gonna say who posted this, but I feel like the people saying it was better for Jax to abstract, and it would be better for him to stay abstracted are kinda missing something. Like, Jax is still a person, we got to see him spiral into essentially suicide and now there’s just a gaping hole in the cast, whether we want there to be or not. The cast made some amount of effort in the last few episodes to help Jax be better mentally, and I feel like that effort should have gone towards something. I guess I don’t like it when people only see Jax in relation to other characters.
Within my small group of online/former school friends, I’ve started saying the phrase “my brain runs on dialup” as a quick way of saying “my braim is slow, forgets a ton, and will sometimes crash in the middle of a sentence causing me to forget what I was gonna say”
But I’m starting to wonder if it would be more accurate to say my brain is running windows xp and the non audhd people are running windows 11. My brain has all the charm of the 90s to early 2000s internet and the fun icons and wallpapers, but it’s really slow and experiences a ton of errors, especially with things it wasn’t designed to do.
While neurotypical brains are faster, they also have ai features and onedrive and whatever being pushed on them, which I simply don’t have to care about. 
I think this analogy has helped me understand my brain’s strengths and weaknesses better, not just seeing it as inferior to neurotypical brains. So I wonder if it might help someone else
Finally finished this piece I’ve had in my head for a while. For a long time I’ve been struggling with giving myself the recognition and validation I need for the things I create.
I’m not sure how to do that, but I was thinking of that “drag path” song, because it explains to me why we make art. To show we were here, to show that for just a moment on the scale of the universe, I cared about something so much to put 2 hours into it (yes procreate says this piece took 2 hours)
