Just thought about how maybe the OG sunjae is the least loser of all sunjaes because he never felt he even had the right to feel what he felt for her after what happened to her because of him and now i cant stop feeling an ache in my chest. 💔

She has. Twice. Told him enough for him to know something will go wrong. But its a basic human tendency to think that you can handle it.

She felt confident after this conversation knowing that sunjae might be able to handle things and we know how it ended.

The very assumption that drives this show is that she's the one who can change his fate. Its her chance and a responsibilty she has given herself.

He does not have the capacity to do it thats why the watch becomes a time machine after he dies ( unlike marry my husband where jiwon was given the chance to change her own fate ).

No matter how much he knows, when the fate knocks on his door its too late for him to save himself.

And i'm glad it goes like this for once. It is a romance show and her burden is huge, to change his fate by herself but its her burden to bear. Just like sunjae has his - to wait and love her while she moves through time and space and never even question the idea that he's born to love her. Thats why its so balanced. Her efforts and his unmoving patience. And its a delight to watch as a viewer.

To know these two people who compliment each other's form of love so well that even in times of heartbreak we can still have some relief.

Because no matter what happens to him, she'll change it & in whatever way she changes their destiny, he will ardently love her through it.

Does anyone else wakes up on a random thursday and cries about the fact that sol never even got the luxury to try to move on from sunjae and have a semblence of life not marred by the constant hollowness of their love no more existing because for 15 yrs she was constantly keeping a check on his whereabouts & schedules so as to not end up anywhere around him even by accident. 💔

I really hope nothing happens to taesung because to im sol it will be like a proof from fate that whoever stays beside her will lose their life. After decades of suffering they better not make my girl feel like she's cursed or something. 😭

The entire debate about sol taking away sunjae's choice is so wild to me.

Sol deleting herself from his life is wrong because he made the choice to protect her knowing the consequences and she's taking it away but sunjae walking into danger despite knowing its the last thing she wants and she would rather chose to suffer than involve him is okay because he is a lovesick loser and this is just a grand expression of love.

My girl cant walk one step without a target on her head.

Every passing week i fall more in love with how sincerely and with pure love this story is written. One moment we are scared the plot will go down and the next we are praising the writers to bring this story to reality.

I can never put it into words but this is one of few shows where the connection between a viewer and the creator feels genuine, sincere & is respected. Just like the bond between soljae.

You can feel the love, the intricacies, the care that went in to weave this tale to life.

I get people being tired of the killer plot not being resolved by now but i guess we have to accept its a huge part of their story and cant be done with a quick fix it. At the end they cant keep everyone happy. People might ask for cute moments all the time but without high stakes or something to look out for in the future episodes most people get easily tired of cute scenes ( especially when the main plot has already been resolved ) also keeping a 3rd party makes more sense because knowing sol & sunjae's character its not like they can introduce a "you are a star we cant be together" storyline, no one would buy that. 😭😂
