Drew my girlfriend's dnd character as a "comission" of sorts. This is the paladin Nuala, training in between sessions and slightly annoyed at being interrupted during that.

Day 26! Final day. Uni is picking up speed like nothing else and I am having no free time with how long I spend on these (1-4 hours usually, depending on the piece) And so, to celebrate the end of this "challenge" of ours, I finally painted my cat layla. Day 25! Girlies I am still on a penguin kick. This is another species I really like, the Adélie penguin. This is the most widespread species of penguin in the Antartic! Their name comes from the wife of the explorer who first encountered them

Day 24! Pretty simple drawing today, because I need to draw a commission for a friend and all that. Female black widow spider, they live about 3 years while the males only live to a few months. Pretty cool species. Despite their rep related to how dangerous they are, bites, specially lethal bites, are actually pretty rare!

Day 23! Today is a puffin, a friend recommended this one for me a few days back and I finally got around to it. Decided to do it because I really liked how the shading turned out on yesterday's penguin and I wanted another penguin-like bird lol. This was completely different! they're nowhere near as smooth so I had to spend a considerable amount of extra time with the details. Hoping my art doesn't get flagged as mature this time!

Day 16*! Another corn snake! this one coiled over a branch and ready to bite! these guys are so cool and I love how they look, so we get two of them back to back *I'm not counting yesterday since tech issues were outside my control and I doodled a little irl

Day 20! I've been doing this for longer than I thought I would. Today's bird is a Robin by my girlfriends request. I love how it turned out!

Had to put one of my fish down today. A corydora spooked herself and likely ran into some rock or wood, causing a nasty scrape along the sides of her body. Could barely swim away and move. I had clove oil in hand so at least I could give her a painless and calm death

Day 18! Today is the peregrine falcon, one of the most famous dive bombing birds species out there. I don't have much to say about them besides their unique hunting methods and the planes using their body plan as guidelines, I really just think they look neat lol. Also picked this photo to let me practice lighting a bit more with having higher contrast areas and sharper shadows than what I'm used to.

Day 17! this is just a normal rooster, from the Malay chicken breed. I think they're cool and somewhat prehistoric looking, specially the tall and slender ones. While drawing this I was watching a couple videos of roosters fighting off birds of prey to protect their flock and god they're so awesome.
