"Hm... I suppose you're right." she said thoughtfully. "So... does that mean I'm crazy but not stupid? Heh, I can live with that I think."

She wondered if it was an elf thing to live on your own. Solas did it, this one did it, Sera didn’t live alone, per se, but she didn’t exactly have many ties binding her.

Thora listened intently, brown eyes flickering from Arra to her mug of cider. She took a few sips every now and then, giggling into the rim at the joke. It was easy to forget how dangerous all this was for ordinary travellers just looking for a living when you travelled in groups, always armed. Sure, it was still dangerous, but things always felt less dangers when Dorian was there shooting lightning, or Varric with his crossbow.

"You made it," she said with a wide grin, lifting her mug and bumping it lightly against the elf’s. "Cheers!"

"The Inquisition might not be perfect, but I think you made the right choice. Then again, maybe I’m biased. They’re friendlier than Carta, that’s all I ask."

"Heh heh, oh I don't know much about the Carta actually. Just know they're criminals of some sort." she chuckled. "But I'm glad to be here, and to be with people who share a common goal. Meetin' new people's been fun. This is actually the longest I've ever spoken to a dwarf, I think. Not for lack of want, but there was never an opportunity. It's nice to have this."

"I... suppose...." she spoke quietly. Arra had a distant look in her eye now, as her mind was wandering from someplace other than the young man in front of her. "Maybe when this business is finished, I could see..."

"Well, it sort of makes sense. The veil's all torn, so the demons come out, that's straightforward enough. The Inquisitor can help so we all gather under the Inquisition's banner. Also easy to follow. But... this Corypheus... that doesn't make sense... not at all."

And, if it’s all the same, I’d like you to stay with the healers for now. I think after Haven, they need all the support they can get.”

"Then here I shall stay. And if danger should come here, I will defend the people with my life."

"I take it that’s not where you want to be? I’m sure I can convince someone to put you where you’d want to help the most."

"I just want to help as much as I can, so it is up to you, Inquisitor. For now I don't mind stayin' here. I'm gettin' spoiled a bit I think, heh. I've never eaten so well in my life."

"You could accompany the scouts the  next time a ruin needs investigation, if  you wish. Safety in numbers is something  I prefer anyway.”

He smiled warmly, just another day of using his power to make the dreams of others come true. Besides, he enjoyed helping others greatly.

"What... really? If you mean it, I promise I won't be trouble at all. I'll be a help, in fact!"

"Have you ever seen an elven castle?" she chuckled half-heartedly. "This place is far too sturdy and livable to be like anywhere I’ve been."

"I can’t say that I have, no. Though the  ruins I have walked, temples mostly,  were beautiful. Even broken and  weathered, one can hardly hope to  imagine what the structures were  like their prime.” It was true. Armythus deeply enjoyed walking the forgotten structures of the past. There was something sad about seeing great civilizations lay in fragmented ruin. What was it like when the land was filled with them? When they were alive and teeming with voices? He wanted to know but knew the answer would never surface.

"I'd love to see somethin' like that some day. Maybe I can, when I'm confident I won't be killed right away, heh." she scratched her head nervously. "But... for now Skyhold is the biggest, oldest, most in tact structure I've ever been in."

A sad smile turns his lips. “Mine is not a gift everyone has. The Dalish base their knowledge off of old tales and fractured artefacts. In the past I have tried to share my knowledge, only to be turned away.

"I am not one of the People, according to them. I am barefaced, and thus little better than human."

"I... yes. I love my people, but sometimes their thinkin' can be... unfortunate." she admitted. There was still a little part of her that wanted to see them as perfect."Bein' on my own has taught me that one cannot afford to turn away friends. I hope someday they learn better."

The girl laughed, seemingly a bit more relaxed than before. “Yeah, nobles are usually the problem. They don’t really like to tell me when I’ve mucked things up, I just find out through the Lady Ambassador that I’ve been publicly denounced several weeks later.”

"So, Miss Arra, are you a soldier, or…?"

"No, at least not now. I can fight, but so far it's the healers I've been helpin' the most. I'm content to keep doin' so if that's where I'm most needed."
