Connor Roy ass/back screenshots, we as a society needs this, more Connor content
oookay, I might be able to do that. I just need to go through the screenshots I already have of him and see if there’s enough to make a decent post, lol
also, I’ve got a few other post ideas kinda like that... with pics/GIFs of Connor, but honestly, I feel like I suck at it. I have no clue how people make those amazing GIFs you see all over tumblr, and the pics are never in the best quality. So yeah, that’s part of why I keep juggling these post ideas.
Out of curiosity, and maybe you've already said this before (sorry if you have, I'm new here), but do you write fanfic?
As a Succiety, we need more Connor fics, methinks.
yeah I think about Connor a normal amount.
omg first of all, thanks for the ask!! I really appreciate it <3
Short answer: I don’t really write at the moment, but I’d love to.
I enjoy writing, mostly nonfiction though. I used to write fanfics a few years ago (different fandoms), but it’s been a while since I’ve written anything else. Still, I think it’d be fun to try again someday? Probably nothing too long, maybe a one-shot or something chill. Writing in English makes me a bit self-conscious since it’s not my first language, but I’d be super excited to give it a go sometime.
Also yeah, I did look for Connor fics and they’re so rare… I’m not super used to AO3, maybe I need to dig deeper? Not sure. But I feel you, I also think about him way too much lmao.
I Just made a silly little post but honestly I have no idea what to do with this blog anymore. Don’t wanna let it fall into limbo :( I hate not having ideas but yeah… that’s kinda where I’m at rn... sighhh

Quick note: I picked shots where Connor shows up more clearly, 'cause in most season intros and outros he first appears all blurry in the background lol. So I just went with the best first clear frames, hope that’s cool!
We’ve officially made it to the final episode of the final season of Succession. We’re still following the whole GoJo deal drama, with the Golden Trio on one side, and on the other, there’s Connor, already living in Logan’s old house, inviting the brothers over for what he calls the “Great Reallocation.”
I know it’s obvious, but it is kind of sad that the only reason the brothers agree to go is because they see a possible business angle. As soon as they ask if Frank and Karl will be there, it’s clear they’re already thinking about vote hunting for the board.
Connor’s outfit and hair here are giving major Season 1 Connor energy.
He walks them through this weirdly detailed system for tagging stuff in Logan’s house, and then everyone starts scavenging for what they want.
Shiv asks about some medals, Connor explains:
his face i am gonna dkejefejfoeifjoij
Roman asks if Connor really doesn’t want to keep anything of Logan’s, and Willa jumps in to say she’s trying to clear things out because she has “new stuff” coming in.
Honestly… not a fan of the idea of ConWilla going their separate ways at the end.
Shiv brings up that if Mencken doesn’t get elected, Willa’s basically stuck with Connor...
Then they walk into the dining room, and there’s a video playing on the TV.
Connor says it’s from a few weeks before Logan died. The video’s got Logan, Kerry, Connor, Gerri, Karl, Frank and I think Willa, recording the video.
Connor imitating Logan's "Fuck off" 😭. Shiv then compliments him, and Connor cringes and asks quietly if she liked it 😭.
"Shes meditating guys" "She's died" vibes.
Okay, mini rant incoming... I just gotta say I find it kinda uninteresting that the three brothers end up at their mom’s place earlier in the episode. Maybe I’m biased, but it would've been way more interesting if Roman had turned to Connor for support, and the three of them met up at Connor’s new place instead.
I do think Connor gets a solid ending to his whole presidential storyline (even if I’m not a big fan of it, I don’t hate it either), but when it comes to his place in the family… it still feels unresolved, you know?
Like I said, if the brothers had met Roman at Connor’s, it could’ve been a chance for them to finally realize they can lean on Connor sometimes... something they didn’t get from their dad and clearly aren’t getting from their mom either.
Later on, during the board vote, there’s that moment when Shiv leaves the room while it’s still tied, and then…
!!!! Always worth remembering !!!!
And that’s it, the last "mention" of Connor in the entire series. :((
(Btw, if I saw it right, this is Connor’s very last frame in Succession. Lol.)
Yayyy, 4 seasons and 39 episodes (he’s missing from three, lol) later, I’m wrapping up my little commentary journey on the most important member of the Roy family in Succession. It’s been oddly fun updating this blog with my thoughts. Honestly, I started it just because I have a terrible memory and need to write things down, so I figured doing it on a blog might be fun. No idea what I’ll do with it now, but yeah… we’ll see. Anyway, thanks for reading and engaging here! byee :)
We’ve made it to the second-to-last episode of the series (😭) and yep... it’s finally Logan’s funeral. Shiv, Roman, and Kendall are on their way together, while Connor’s already there with Willa.
He shows Shiv the speech he wrote about their dad, and she reminds him that Roman was supposed to give the eulogy... though she kind of forgets that Connor wasn’t even there when that was decided.
Shiv also says the speech is too long and hard to follow, and Willa steps in to defend it, calling it formal and creative.
Then Shiv randomly throws in that the speech could lead to a lawsuit (? there's zero context for that, lol).
The funeral starts as Logan’s coffin is brought in, and when the camera cuts to the siblings, Connor’s expression is just heartbreaking.
And the way Connor checks on Roman during Ewan’s speech… 🥺
As a proud Conwilla shipper, I have to point out how sweet Willa is holding Connor’s hand through all of this (and at other moments too).
Then it’s time for Roman’s eulogy… but the second he sees the coffin, he panics. And Connor’s face says it all.
He’s the last to stand up but still rushes over to Roman right away 😭
The three quickly come together to help Roman, and Kendall ends up stepping in to give the speech.
I actually really love that Connor stayed by Roman’s side (they’re my two favorite brothers, so it hit me extra). But let’s be real: Connor was the only one actually prepared to speak.
Then Kendall starts improvising…
It’s kind of shocking that, for once, someone actually included Connor in the sibling count like it was nothing. A rare win lol.
Once again, Connor’s just being the supportive older brother 😭
He gives them both a little hug after Kendall’s speech. (It kinda hurts to realize how often he backs them all up, but rarely gets the same in return.).
There’s also this quick bit where Shiv shares a story, and the three of them smile, remembering it together.
At the cemetery, Kendall’s not impressed with Logan’s mausoleum choice. Meanwhile, Connor says…
The other three didn’t even know about the mausoleum, but Connor did, and he tells them how it came to be.
His little story is what finally gets all four of them to laugh and share a rare happy moment. That scene really sums up Connor’s whole role in the show for me.
He even offers to show them around 🥺 Inside, Kendall jokes about the extra burial slots and asks if anyone else wants to move in. Connor says he’ll have to ask Willa first.
The cryogenics comment is probably just a silly joke, but it totally reminded me of season one when Logan gets sick and Connor talks about freezing his body back then too.
Say what you want about Connor and Willa, but in the end, he was the only one who had someone there with him for support.
After the mausoleum, we get a great scene with Kendall talking to Mencken. Then Greg and Roman join, followed by Connor (and later Shiv).
Connor calling Mencken J-Man 😭
He tries to bring up the embassy situation and the whole budget thing, but Kendall keeps cutting him off.
I seriously can’t stand Mencken, but that moment where he just stares at Connor while he’s talking… it’s got major “he wants that cookie so effing bad” energy.
Then Shiv swoops in and pulls Mencken away to go talk to Matsson.
And now I’m just wondering… are there any Connor/Mencken fics/au out there? I know people ship Mencken with Roman, but like… am I really the only one seeing this?? 👀i'm sorry
☕︎ Well, these would be my comments on the participation of the most important member of the Roy family in this episode. Thank you for your attention. I'll see you in the comments of the next episode. byee
It’s finally election day!! Connor calls Tom to say the ATN camera crew’s already with him, but he’s annoyed that none of the footage is actually showing up on ATN’s election coverage. He says he’s used to being ignored by people, but not by the ones who are supposed to be on his side (!!!).
Earlier, Roman meets up with Mencken and his team, and Mencken basically blames him for possibly screwing things up by not getting Connor to drop out.
After the call with Tom, Willa and Maxin try to lift Connor’s spirits.
But yeah, Maxin’s optimism dies fast when Connor loses Kentucky to Mencken, lol.
Willa sticks with Connor the whole time, being super supportive.
Later, Connor calls Roman again.
Roman jokes it’s a wild night for Mencken.
He also says the “deal” was yesterday’s news, and kinda implies that if Mencken loses, Connor’s partially to blame.
The way Connor talks about a literal coup with a smirk on his face…
And Connor keeps up with the rhyming (seriously, how does this goofball think he can be president? he’s just a baby in a suit).
Not gonna lie, I really wish he had come up with a rhyme for Brazil lol.
Roman wraps the call saying he’ll see what he can negotiate with Mencken’s team.
Later, Connor and Willa pop up on ATN.
lol I love them. Also, my beloved TomCon never gets the love it deserves 😔
Roman actually finds Connor’s idea interesting and reaches out to Mencken’s people.
And this is where it starts getting bittersweet for me 🕊️
Idk… I just didn’t love that Connor gave up. Like, yeah, he was obviously never gonna win, but it’s more the giving up that bums me out.
Connor gives a whole speech on TV, but here are my fave bits:
My reaction to the whole thing was pretty much Willa’s, lmao.
Anyway, this officially marks the beginning of the end for Connor’s story on the show. The biggest Connor arc is finally wrapped. In my heart, though, Connor Roy will always be the president-elect of the Succession-verse.
“BE WARNED, FOR THE CONHEADS ARE COMING!!!” 🦅🗽✨🎆

It’s the night before the US presidential election. We open with Connor meeting Shiv at Jean-Georges to chat and sort out Logan’s funeral.
Connor’s being adorable, calling Shiv “honey.”
Then Roman shows up.
Connor tells them he just came back from seeing their dad at the funeral home. Shiv jokes, like, "Any changes since the last time you saw him?"
Roman gives him a look, and Connor tries to explain.
It’s kinda sad that Connor only got a peaceful moment with Logan now, after everything 💀.
Connor says he actually finds that comforting. Then Kendall shows up and joins the sibs.
Shiv brings up the latest poll results.
Kendall shuts it down real quick, says he’s swamped. Then Connor officially kicks off the “funeral management committee.”
Finally, Connor asks:
Shiv jokes about how wild it is to be casually planning a speech in front of the most powerful people on the planet.
Kendall volunteers, and Roman snarks, asking if he’s gonna use the defamatory material he usually uses to talk about their father.
They try to keep talking, but Connor gets a call and has to bounce to deal with his campaign.
Later that night at Shiv and Tom’s pre-election party — even before Connor shows up — Roman tells Kendall that Mencken’s team is freaking out about how close the numbers are.
Apparently, Connor’s 1% is messing with some key states, and Mencken’s camp wants the siblings to convince him to drop out.
Roman talks to Connor about it and asks if he can tell the Conheads (WE GOT A MENTION!!) to vote for Mencken.
Roman says they literally said “For the good of the republic,” and Connor’s laugh in response??? Added 20 years to my life.
Then Roman pitches Mencken’s offer: if Connor drops out, he can be ambassador to Mogadishu, Somalia.
Connor’s like… yeah, no. Ends the convo.
A bit later, Connor (with Maxin, OBVIOUSLY) tries to reopen negotiations with Roman.
The way he’s holding Maxin’s arm… just let me fangirl in peace…
Connor tells Roman he wants something in Europe. Roman says they can offer Slovenia or Slovakia.
Connor looks to Maxin for approval and I LOST IT.
Maxin suggests South Korea, but Roman’s like “that’s gonna be tough.” So Connor goes:
MAXIN CALLING HIM “MY LIEGE” AGAIN??? BYE.
Connor says he could open up North Korea like Nixon did with China (like, he’s serious). Roman’s like "they’re not going to put you anywhere with nukes." And Connor replies that maybe he doesn’t wanna go somewhere without nukes.
You can’t rlly see it in the pic, but he BITES HIS LIP.
He ends it saying he’ll talk to Willa.
He's waiting for Willa and Maxin to confirm his position… which could mean nothing...
During his talk with Willa, she hesitates about doing something that’d help Mencken and says her whole family hates the guy.
Then Roman, fresh off a fight with Gerri, storms back to push the deal again.
Roman keeps pushing, but my wife Willa steps in.
She defends Connor’s campaign (!!!) and things get heated. Roman finally snaps and says everyone thinks Connor’s a joke (almost word-for-word what Logan said on the yacht back in S2, iirc).
Meanwhile, Matsson and Ebba are literally right there, watching it all go down.
btw in the second pic, you can see Matsson pointing at himself like “me”.... MATSSON IS A CONHEAD!!!
Then, as Connor and Willa get up to leave, Matsson tells them he’d totally vote for Connor lol. Wish they’d had more scenes together tbh.
Near the end of the episode, Roman brings up the funeral speech again. Just noting it here because Connor’s not even around for that convo, about something he’s organizing.

While the siblings and the top Waystar execs are off in Norway for the annual GoJo retreat with Matsson, Connor's back home handling Logan’s funeral at Frank Campbell.
He gives Roman a call.
Connor tells him Marcia’s talking about putting Logan in a kilt and Roman explains this to Kendall and Shiv. Then Kendall goes:
Ugh, why talk to Con like that? 😤
Connor says it’s a whole mess and he even had to cancel a conference in Cleveland because of it.
Kendall, whyyy?? What did Connor ever do to you 😭
Shiv thanks him for handling the funeral stuff and asks what exactly he needs from them.
There's a quick moment here where Willa supports him and tells him not to let his siblings walk all over him.
Kendall gives him the green light and even says if Connor really needs to, he can send pics (???).
And yeah, end of the episode, Connor actually sends Roman a pic.
Roman even asks Kendall if he wants to see it and he’s like “no, thanks.”
I always end up defending Connor here (ofc) and sometimes throwing shade at the other brothers, but man… sending that pic of dead Logan was so tactless. Especially to Roman, who literally asked him not to and was still deep in grief.
Off: there's also this part mid-episode where Matsson finds out Greg’s part of the Roy fam and he’s super confused, even asks if all the employees are related somehow... and I couldn’t stop thinking like, would Matsson totally love meeting Connor just because he’d never, ever take him seriously 😭 (that said, my memory sucks and I don’t even remember if they actually know each other in the show lol).

The whole fam (and some Waystar employees) get together at the start of the episode at the late Logan’s place. Connor and Willa show up and are greeted by Marcia.
Marcia takes a moment to congratulate Willa on the wedding.
Marcia says sorry they have to deal with all this so soon after it.
Poor Willa, girl’s gonna spend her honeymoon hopping from one committee to another ‘cause of Connor’s campaign.
Willa heads off to chat with other people, and Connor stays behind to talk to Marcia.
I think it’s sweet how he handles it so gently, not wanting to make things worse for her.
Then Marcia says she wants 60-70 million for the house. Connor’s like “wow,” but they quickly settle on 63 mil, no fuss.
Why does he look so cute with that little face? also, he's vaguely looking like Roman here?
He legit looks shocked she agreed to the deal so fast.
Connor imitating emojis: 😧.
Then Marcia spits on her hand, and Connor copies her, sealing the deal.
Not long after, Connor and Willa chat a bit, and it’s kinda clear Willa’s not super thrilled about the idea of living in Logan’s old place.
They end up joining the other three in a room a bit away from the crowd, and right away, Connor slips into big brother mode, taking care of everyone.
He hugs Roman, shows Kendall some love, and asks everyone how they’re doing, but looks at Shiv when he says it. Jokes aside, Connor really is the dad they deserved.
Then Roman flips it around and, for once, seriously asks how he’s doing. No sarcasm, just real concern.
There’s a speech, and Connor heads over to his siblings.
Right after Connor says that, Roman looks at Shiv and they both just ignore him… and honestly, I kinda get it this time lol.
While the others are talking company stuff, Willa’s off chatting with her mom about renovating Logan’s place.
This time around, Shiv and Connor talk about random stuff, then Kendall comes in, trying to talk business. Shiv interrupts to focus on Connor.
Connor tells Kendall and Roman that Marcia sold him their father' house.
Roman makes a joke, but for a sec, I thought it was sweet that he’s thinking about all the brothers sticking together.
Kendall gets annoyed and yells, cutting Connor off, saying they need to talk before the board meeting. Shiv asks Connor to leave, and honestly, it’s so nice that Roman actually takes a second to apologize.
(Episode quote)
Connor’s not seen again in the ep, but when Shiv trips and falls, I kinda wish he was there. He’d definitely help her and be all concerned 😭.
