“That’s not exactly impressive,” Silas shrugs, unfazed by the accomplishments of John. “I could steal anything I want with my eyes closed ( beat that John ). Want me to demonstrate?” There is no way Silas will pass up the opportunity to dramatically show off.

Her body seemed to stiffen at the correction, choosing to stand instead of crouching, pulling the box up with her. She looked at him, brows furrowed as she stilled her hands in the box, “Silas.” Stories of him had made it back to her, though none were too great, which put her more on a guarded front, he was–the first. She chuckled and raised her brows nodding, “At best, but we call you Stefan because we don’t really expect it not to be him at first glance.” She took a breath, he held more of a humor than Stefan, she’d give him that, already favoring this doppelganger. She looked down at the box before rolling her eyes, “Should I hire you as an interior designer or are you just here to criticize?” Tyla was trying to reorganize, to sort and kind of declutter the office, but it was proving to be a harder feat than anticipated.

“Out of those, I’ll definitely go with option B,” Silas smirked, folding his arms. Why help when he could have even more fun judging from the side lines? “As if I would take up a job as an interior decorator, I have far more important things to be doing.” Eating junk food and catching up on TV shows he had missed in the last couple of decades would seem like a waste to some, but Silas had since learnt to enjoy the smaller things in life. “Besides, you wouldn’t be able to afford me even if I did decide to take up such a meaningless job. Why are you switching it up an way? Other than the fact that this room is an eyesore to those who have artistic taste.”

Without meaning to, Rebekah had actually touched upon quite an important question. What exactly did Silas do these days ( apart from look extreme handsome ) ? “I do whatever I want.” Yes, that definitely sounded both cool and intimidating. “You’re welcome to witness the greatness that is me, just don’t get in the way.”

Silas had spent a few days binge watching ‘Orange Is the New Black’, and had taken it upon himself to try out the fashion stylings of the show. If he was being honest, he didn’t think orange was his colour, but there was no way in hell he would admit that. In fact, he was prepared to lie through his teeth, especially when someone else had the nerve to judge him.

“Coming from the person who looks tragic in everything” He threw the jacket at Nadia, challenging her to try it on. Although he could pretty much predict the outcome, it would still be fun to watch as she humiliated herself in the fashion department. “I suppose you think you can pull it off better, hm?”

Aren’t you all about the ‘innocent until proven guilty’ nonsense?”
