Welcome to fish slap wednesday!
This is the official tumblr account for an art chain based on sbk’s fish gaming wednesdays, and the fish slap fanart.
The goal of this art chain is to bring the community together with some good old-fashioned fish themed shenanigans.
Here’s how it works:
Every Wednesday, whoever was slapped in the previous fish art gets to pick a new victim, and makes a drawing of their persona slapping said victim with a fish of their choosing.
That person then posts the art onto tumblr, and tags the victim and the official fish slap account. That victim will then choose someone from the community “pool” to fish slap next Wednesday, and the cycle repeats!
Want to join? Here’s how!
To apply to join the pool, reblog *this* tumblr post with the account you want to be tagged with, and a picture of the persona you want people to draw you as. The post will be edited to include all the “fish” in the “pool” (names of the participants). Whoever is picking a new victim can go look at the list’s reblogs, and choose a victim accordingly.
Here are some general guidelines for the fish art chain :)
1. Please keep your art sfw and respectful of other people’s boundaries.
2. As long as the fish art is posted during Wednesday, you can post at whatever time you want.
3. You can get a one week extension, but only if you doodle a skyhead doing something silly, and tag the fish slap account.
4. Failure to draw your fish art after the extension will result in the fish art account stepping in and fish slapping someone at random.
5. Only the person who was fish slapped gets to post the next official link in the chain. This is so we can keep track of who is slapping who.
6. You can only fish slap people in the “pool” of participants.
7. The same person can get slapped multiple times, but not in a row. We want to give everyone the opportunity to get slapped with a fish.
8. The fish art can be whatever you want it to be. It could be a five minute doodle. You can draw it in ms paint with a mouse. As long as the characters are recognizable and properly tagged, all fish art is accepted!
9. When posting, Tag the listed account of the person you have decided to slap, the official fish slap account, and use the tag ‘fish slap chain’
10. You can drop out at any time, just send me a dm or let me know in my ask box. No pressure :)
11. Absolutely NO use of generative ai is allowed!
