Bat!sib reader having odd hobbies that change every week.

-Reader is the only one in the family who isn’t a vigilante

-Not because they aren’t good at it, they very well could be if they set their mind to it

-They are just too busy trying out everything

Scene:

-The bat fam is having dinner right now, and yes everyone is present for once.

-Tim starts talking about some W.E. stocks and whatnot

-Just then, that reminds Bruce of something, he clears his throat saying…

“I’ve been meaning to ask you all, who…purchased blacksmithing equipment using my personal credit card?”

-Steph looks up from her plate, looking at Damian, since it sounds like something Damian would do

-Damian doesn’t react and just keeps eating his dinner

-Duke defends himself saying “It wasn’t me.”

-Bruce goes and starts looking at who’s guilty

-Though not for long, it isn’t until bat!sib reader speaks up

“It was me.”

-Jason raises an eyebrow at this, but not quite questioning it yet and still shoveling food into his mouth

-Bruce sighs

“Why?”

-He asks in an almost exhausted of these children type of voice, but I still love them voice

“It’s my new hobby!”

-Dick speaks up in an excited/curious tone

“Have you made anything yet?”

-Tim then swallows the water that he had just sipped from before speaking

“Do you even have the appropriate tools, equipment, and safety for it?”

-Reader nods their head

“Yep! Alfred helped me get the equipment for it.”

-Bruce looks over to Alfred

-Alfred just smiles slightly at that, yet not stating anything

“And yes! I did make something!”

-Reader says proudly

-Right before pulling out a full on sword from quite literally nowhere

-Jason chokes on his water spitting it out

-Dick gasps

-Damian looks almost shocked

-Cass just stares at the sword

“Reader!”

-Bruce almost yelps as they pull out the sword waving it around half hazardously

-Reader gets the sword taken out of their hands almost right away by Alfred

“Reader, swords are not appropriate for the dinning table”

-Alfred sternly says before taking the sword to a different room

-Bruce, still standing up from the literal jump scare says

“I thought just last week your hobby was tattooing. I even got you a nice practice tattoo gun and everything.”

-Reader looks up

“I got bored of it and blacksmithing seemed fun”

And so the cycle continues…
