Hi Fish! I've been scrolling through the Deshelled AU tag. I see Donnie got mutated, but how did Dimension X affect Leo?

Leo did not go through dimension x like Mikey or Donnie, so it didn't effect him more than it did in the show.

The most effect that it has on him is whatever comes from Donnie and Mikeys own dealings.

Kraang Donnie has fins and a tail, did he get mixed with a fish or something? How did they mutate him?

The Kraang mutated him with Kraang DNA to attempt to get him into the hive mind. But not so much as to totally erase him, they wanted his brain and power while also needing the ability to control him.

Turtles do have tails and webbings, but the mutation brought out those features more while sort of combining with the Kraang attributes he's also gained, like eyes and teeth! :)

The Kraang kept him in a lab, and since the worms in dimension x make the mutagen, they were able to easily get enough of it to mutate him, while watching him closely to monitor the mutation.

Mikey's first encounter with Kraang Donnie post-op? 👀 How did he react to seeing him so different?

He didn't take it well. While to him, he got back to dimension x within a day, he knew Donnie had been there for way longer. He didn't know where his brother was, and eventually he found him in one of the Kraang labs.

Horror and absolute nausea was the first thing. Seeing his older brother like that. Mikey found him curled up in a corner of a cell, mutated but not beyond recognition.

Mikey hated it. But his first priority was to get Donnie home, to get Donnie safe. So he pushes all those horrible thoughts aside and rescues him.

Whether he could be found out in the farmhouse forest vomiting and spiraling is a tall for another time.

After finding a sort of calm, Donnie got into gardening. Something that kept him out of the barn and kept him moving, something to focus on that wasn't analytical like machines or chemicals. Something that made him feel calm and didn't have the chance of blowing up or electrocuting him.
