I actually really like headcanoning Leo as aro MLM—there’s like no rep for arospec peps who aren’t aroace or grayacearo etc. and they don’t always go hand in hand. I feel like it’s a good way to tie in Leo’s canonical attraction to men (portal jacked episode) and his romance aversion. I do see Leo as very cluster B coded as well but you make such a valid point. Donnie has so many feelings. That boy has feelings so big he can’t control them no matter how hard he tries to mask (and oh boy does he TRY). Donnie’s arguably the most sensitive out of all of them! Low empathy characters can be emotional, empathy has nothing to do with how someone expresses their feelings. People just. forget what empathy actually is. He has a hard time putting himself in other people’s shoes, understanding their emotions, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care he cares so much!! And being romantically/sexually interested in people has nothing to do with how empathetic you are idk why this narrative exists I’m going crazy. And PLEASE guys platonic relationships are not less than romantic ones we should all write more QPRS and give characters unconventional relationship dynamics.
