finally got an refs and a story for some characters to be apart of the new Royal spells au by @onyxonline !
Firstly!
𝙼𝚊𝚢𝚊 𝚟𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚎𝚝𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚜, Crown Princess of Emberfalls and the pillar of change
Personality: Generous and caring. But also impulsive and chaotic at heart
Homeland: Emberfalls, a fairly grey kingdom located in the edges of cliffs, where the economy depends on mining precious gems and coal. But the folks around mostly moody and rugged like the cliffs around them.
Enchanted item: Wooden prosthetic arm with a peridot as the magical gem
Familiar: Ferret named Merrit! A chaotic thing at reflects the crazy nature within Maya, the two happily get along.
Goal: With coming closer to the age of possibly succeeding the throne Maya strives to learn the ways of magic, and if luck goes her way, She plans to change a lot of things such as the toxic culture and current leadership in Emberfalls. If anything her ways are almost reminiscent of old Elven times.
But with Chaos there also needs to calm (somewhat) which leads to the other sibling and Twin of Maya.
Introducing
𝐷𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑘 𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑒𝑡𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑠, Also a Crown Prince and the resolute pillar,
Personality: Cheeky and also very chaotic, Also stubborn and dense at times
Homeland: Emberfalls, a rough and rugged place, in which their economy relies on mining coal and precious gems, people rugged and moody like the cliffs surrounding them.
Enchanted item: Ring with a magical reddish pink Spinel
familiar: Demeritt who is a ferret, a cheeky little thing who loves to snatch your snacks or annoy the crap out of his owner and anything.
Goal: Taught and pressured with the goal in mind of doing anything for the good of the kingdom, Dominick meddles with dark magic in hopes to successfully succeed the throne and maintain the current tradition that his family has worked so hard for to this day, plus with the current mentality of being unable to bring that change even if he wanted to
Family backstory (this goes for both siblings/bios)
Pointing at my twin elfs, Maya and Dominick. And their shared title of crown Prince/princess.
I feel like y’all would be curious on the reason they’re both labeled as “Crown Prince/ess” is that. even though logically the crown title would go to the older twin/whoever was born first. The queen (a woman who doesn’t exactly follow the books), thought it would’ve been better to not tell her kids who was older and once they were of age to ascend. Queen decided to make her two children fight/have a magic duel, and whoever won would be found worthy of the throne. Which is why at the moment both twins are basically in the two rival academies to train.
That’s also why there’s high rivalry/tension between the siblings , since both of them have veryyy different ideas on what they plan on doing once the kingdom is in their hands.
Example Maya wants to really change a lot of the toxic culture and work ethics. But in short she wants a better change.
While Dominick wants everything to stay, according to his mother and the way he was raised “the economy is working fine as things keep working the way it is” plus whatever going on currently is “totally fine” though only ones in benefit are his family.
Ether way with these two in the Au I hope y’all like em as much as I do and I’m excited to draw more of them (and so I can get out of my tumblr hibernation)
