I’ve been meaning to share this here. This was another entry to a Pokemon contest I did. The theme was a Pokemon trying to fit in with another Pokemon species, so I picked the rather awkward Stunfisk trying to fit with the graceful Goldeen and Seaking.

Alright, so according to my personal dash, eclipsesong is alive and well (well I guess as well as she can be after something like this).  While I am happy and relieved by this news, I am still disappointed and upset that this event even had to happen.

That said,  our offer still stands.  If you, or anyone you know, have been bullied and feel like there is no return for this, please message us for help.  We can direct you to resources you  can use to get over this hump.  Even if you just need an unbiased ear to listen to you, you can message this page or our personal profiles.  Hell, you can even message my skype (hayleybo) if you want to vent off tumblr.  

Let's take this as a lesson learned and try to move on after something that has shaken this fandom to its very core.

I'll be working on my cycling towns a bit today, so keep your eyes peeled for some adoptions!

We at FiskyCrossing would like to express our overwhelming grief and sorrow over the loss of someone in the Animal Crossing fandom.  No words can express how angry and upset we are over the people involved in driving someone to the point of no return.  One would usually think something like this should never happen… and it shouldn’t… but here we are.

Our only hope would be that we as a community can grow closer together and stand up for those that cannot speak for themselves.  Bullying should never be tolerated and it should always be viewed as an unacceptable behavior.  Animal Crossing has a wide age-range of people from all walks of life.  That makes us unique yet keeps us open to attack from outsiders who do not understand or our own who wish to do nothing but create animosity while hidden under a cloak. 

If you, or know some one who, has been bullied via real life or internet and has no where to turn or feels like they are at the brink of no return, please ask for help.  There are many resources out there that can be used to turn things around.  Even if you just need someone who is unbiased to talk to, Molly, Lau, and I (Hayley) are always willing to lend an ear.  We can be reached either here or on our personal blogs.  

To those who like to troll, harass, bully, via anon asks that helped contribute to this, I urge you to go get some help so this does not happen again.   This is a sad situation for both parties as the ones who have lost have an empty void in their lives and to those who caused it now having to live with the guilt that their stupidity lead to an innocent death.

Taurena, eclipsesong, we may have never spoken before but our paths have crossed due to our shared interest in this game.  We hope right now that you are riding a train that happens to be pulling into the station of your new life, surrounded by your favorite things, foods, and animal-like villagers to lead a town into prosperity.  You will always be remembered by those who care and you have impacted those who you haven’t met.

Rest in peace.
