So thanks to the lovely state of Ohio and it’s horrible weather my room has flooded with sewage and I have lost almost everything!

My brand new sewing machine is completely ruined (last photo, bottom corner) my box spring will have to be thrown out and replaced and im going to need new clothes.

My room is currently uninhabitable and will be for a while, in the mean time I'llbe sharing a bed with my mom and the dogs!!

My trunk filled with personal and cosplay items (second and third pictures) was completely submerged as well as my bed and dresser.

Meanwhile im spending money I do not have to try and save my clothing and it’s not going very well because sewage is a smell that just does not leave clothing easily.

I got into all three of the universities I applied for and I'm sobbing like a child

i was convinced that I wouldn’t get into any of them because my portfolio was simple, I can’t draw for shit and 80% of my sewing experience was cosplay

Objectively, I know I’m good at sewing. But I didn’t think I was good enough for university. Especially not technical courses.

I never even thought I’d MAKE it to university. I dropped out of education at 16 because of suicide attempts, I dropped out of art college in the first year because of depression, I dropped out of a different art college again the next year for the same reasons, then I re-applied to get my 16-18 qualifications age 20 and had to drop out AGAIN…

All I wanted was to finish the first fucking year of higher education, and I lucked out and got a tutor who fought to stop me from getting kicked out over my attendance. And not only did I finish my first year, I finished my second and came top of the course.

IN MY FIRST YEAR AT COLLEGE CLASSMATES TRIED TO GET MY GRADES LOWERED

2 YEATS LATER I GOT INTO ALL OF MY UNIVERSITY CHOICES

AND I DIDN’T JUST GET INTO THE BEST FASHION UNIVERSITY IN THE UK
