Imo I wouldn't even say "passing down" bad habits, because I could see the mental gymnastics to make even the habits a genetic argument. I would argue maybe we should say it's that people are teaching bad habits. And unlearning something can make it harder to learn it right the second time. Teaching your kids bad habits only hurts them when they go on to learn good ones. Teach them right the first time.

It’s not genetics, it’s called passing down bad habits. And the weight comes back when they fall back into those bad habits, it doesn’t just magically appear.
I was an overweight child because my mum overfed me and would let me sit down and watch tv all day, not because of genetics.
I’m into weight lifting and bodybuilding, but sure I think women should only be a size 2 (I’m a size 4). But you’re ignorant so you think that women’s fitness is only about wanting to be skinny.

I have a question regarding Protein Powder. I need to lose up to 40 kgs of weight. Can Protein Powder actually help me boost up my metabolism? Are there any specially exercises I need to do that should be focused on obese people or can I just look up easy exercises on YouTube?
Protein/protein powder does boost your metabolism a little, but the main use of protein is that it’s very satiating and filling and what it does is help you to lose fat without losing muscle (this prevents the ‘skinny fat’ body type) and helps your body to recover.
Try to get protein from food sources before you drink protein shakes, foods like chicken breast, tuna, eggs, beens. If you find you’re still struggling to get your protein in, then drink a protein shake.
If you’re obese and not used to exercising, start with workouts that will be easy on your joints, especially your knees. Go for walks, buy some dumbbells or a kettlebell and do home workouts (have a look on youtube like you said), try bodyweight squats (but go slow and get your form right if you’re not used to it). Swimming is great exercise and low impact.
Just start getting your body moving really; there’s the elliptical, yoga, pilates, step aerobics, resistance band workouts.
