Though I might disagree on some stuff. 

I don’t see Kettricken as Arwen because Kettricken is really fierce and a warrior, which Arwen is not ? Kettricken could be Eowyn maybe ? 

Verity would be Boromir or Aragorn for me… Though Legolas is fine as well, but he did not really defend his realm so I don’t know.

Chade is definitely Gandalf. He is. Old meddler.

And Samwise would be more Perseverance, like always helping others and putting them first. I guess it works for Ash as well, though.

And a last one : Beloved as Tom Bombadil ? PLEASE

one of the saddest things about Fitz is all the things he could have been

and I’m not even talking about being King, or being a father or any of that, but like, throughout the first trilogy there’s littered so much that Fitz is good at, that interests him. He is such a shit assassin, but that’s the role he was pushed into - and it doesn’t fit him, not at all. Fitz showed potential as a scribe. He was a good warrior. He had a pleasant singing voice. All things that he could have pursued, had he been allowed or gotten a proper opportunity at the right moment, but he didn’t. And he could have been so good at it.

This. So much this. Fitz could have been a Buckkeep guard, quite happily. Fitz could have been a scribe. And also, we don’t know all of Fitz’s talents - we only see the ones that were encouraged as useful to his assassin’s training! He might have been an excellent singer if he’d trained from an early age. He’s clever enough with his hands that he might have even learned an instrument. He’s a hard worker and a fast learner, he could have been a blacksmith or a sailor or an artist of some kind. And the one that always gets me is the image of little Keppet watching the sheep in the Mountain Kingdom, with his mother calling him in. What would he have been if he had been left there? What could he have become if circumstances and intentions and ruthless people hadn’t forced him into a corner? Fitz had so much potential but it was lost to him and it hurts :(

I mean, I know it’s kinda cliche, but I still like to imagine Fitz having something wolfish in his appearence, so he & Nighteyes would look like an old married couple or something
