John Boyega legitimately deserves the world. He's had to deal with so much bullshit from the day people learned he would be in Star Wars, had his character disrespected throughout the movies, and then treated like shit by weirdos who were obsessed about a shitty fake relationship, and now he's out there with protestors while many of the people who disrespected him treat white celebrities like heroes for posting a black square on instagram.

Some examples;

Don't be afraid to break the pointless and sexist rules society has imposed upon you, especially if they stand between you and your dreams.

Learn to recognise your self worth beyond the trappings of success.

Recognising and working to correct your white privilege, is not only the right thing to do morally, but will also lead to a more diverse and exciting playing field.

You absolutely do not have to sacrifice your femininity or sense of self in order to make your way in a traditionally masculine field.

The end of Jim Crow laws was in the 1950′s. The first black student to attend a formerly all white school was Ruby Bridges in 1960. 

Here she is being walked to school under the protection of Federal Marshals because angry white people were ready to harm or kill her. 

Here she is in 2010, eight years ago. 

The generation that enforced segregation is not dead, fucko. They were our fuckin grandparents, and it was not that goddamn long ago.
