Sho-kun said that he went to check out the exhibition the day before it officially started along with the rest of Arashi. =)

Other points from the footage aired earlier:

Satoshi-kun hasn’t drawn much since his Freestyle exhibition in 2015. He didn’t have the feel to draw as he was going through a fair bit of struggles then. (T/N: you know, I know)

The time came when he had nothing to do during his stay-home time (and he hates it lol) and then he rented a warehouse for three months and did his Freestyle stuff there after.

He decided to do a colourful portrait of Johnny-san because he thinks that Johnny-san is a humorous person and also someone who has a lot of life experience.

He said that he likes the “Jun” kanji on his huge black and white canvas and thinks that it was pretty well-drawn. =)

When asked if he’s going to continue with his art next year, he said that he hasn’t thought about it at all and maybe he’ll draw when he feels like it.
