Finally watched a new episode of Smallville. Season 4 episode 9, Bound.

Um...Clark being so concerned about Lex's morality and trying to protect him while also struggling with the idea that Lex can't be saved morally. ✅

The way Jonathan sort of defends Lex at the end, when Clark wonders how Lex could treat those women so terribly, by saying that Lex was just doing what he learned 🤯

Clark and Lex serving homoerotic friendship realness ✅

Idk, maybe I'm delusional, but Clark was lowkey yearning this episode, just the way he wanted Lex to be good so bad because he still loves Lex and he needs things to justify it based on this scale in his head weighing the bad experiences he's had with Lex versus all the good.

The main plot of this episode was dumb as hell, but the clex was clexing for me.
