AFA 2016 Annual Report (Editorial) (Branding/ Proposal)
As part of TSA, I was tasked to create layouts for AFA's 2016 Annual Report alongside two team members, Wee Kiat and Kerrie. The following shows the proposed design to AFA.
School Assignment - Infographic
This infographic was a school assignment (for VDS), in which I decided on doing Kaya Toast, a classic Singapore breakfast set to work on.
SP Open House Brochure - Typography (collaborative project with TSA members).
I was simply tasked to edit the proposed logo titles to make it seem more hand-written. The rest were done by my other TSA members.
MUJI MYBAG Design Competition (Proposed) (Branding).
Following the theme: Rediscovering Singapore, I was inspired by one of the daily items that I saw every day as a young child- the bicycle that aunties rode along the streets! I’d say it’s a traditional item because the elder ladies would always ride them to work, markets, or when they’re sending off/fetching children. I used MUJI’s classic red as the main colour scheme, where it also represents Singapore’s main red colour, since this is meant for National Day. The wind element at the back of the bike with leaves simply symbolise the effect of when the bike passes by. The re-discovered value of this creation in the modern way of life would be that bikes are still in use today.
Christmas Flyer for Optical Shop (Proposed).
I was tasked to create a minimalistic flyer that would attract customers to their Christmas sales. Requirements: focus more on just the information rather than graphics.
School Assignment - Personal Manifesto.
Task: create a personal manifesto within 150 words as a motivation and reminder for yourself.
SRFAC Logo Competition (Proposed)
I was tasked under TSA to join this competition and design a new logo for two companies who merged to form SRFAC.
Packaging - Ensure Life (School Assignment).
Task: create a new packaging for one type of dried goods sold in supermarkets. My chosen product? Milk powder.
自 - Hangzhou Trip Assignment (Motion Graphic)
自 - The task was to create a motion graphic for the Chinese letter given by showing the meaning of it alone, or when it's in the given poem. So the word that literally translates to "me" or "self", but in this poem's context, the meaning of it is "since". I did it in a countdown version to give a sense of anticipation for the beginning of the poem, as this is the very first word in the poem itself. It's also to symbolise the time and memories that the poet has spent and made ever since the time he lived in his hometown.

Print Campaign - Everlast Notebook (School Assignment).
Task: create 3 print ads for a chosen product from kickstarter.com.
A short animation inspired by SVT's latest track, Change Up.
Branding - Peperoni Pizzeria (School Assignment).
Task: to re-brand Peperoni Pizzeria. Include mockups.
Please Love Me The Same
The things that I love combined with the feelings that I feel every day.
to: alternatives
Here’s to new experimentations and illustration styles. I’m always inspired by milk, because ya girl’s lactose intolerant. That’s not stopping me from loving bubble tea, soya and milk unconditionally though.
Art Mag “Datsuzoku”
I worked together with a friend of mine, who’s in journalism, to create a minimalist layout for her art magazine as part of her final year project.
