I think it'd be cool if Dizzy's dainty pacifist always-friendly demureness was...not fake, per say, but deliberately invoked and exaggerated as part of her public persona. She's not naive, she's fully aware how lucky she is as a Gear to look so 'human' compared to others, and even then bias towards them is still something she personally encounters on the regular. Of course she has her moments of sarcasm and annoyance and pettiness and feels negative emotions that wouldn't be considered 'pretty' especially toward people who treat her like a monster but she's also very aware that lashing out will only justify people's biases toward the idea of Gears being monstrous and unsafe to be around, even if it means sitting and smiling because she isn't allowed to hit back. Especially since she's such a high-profile figure and has a lot of influence on how Gears are seen now, she has to rein in the urge to scream and throw a punch when people are watching because all that hard work and care fostering peace between human and Gears can be so easily damaged if she isn't constantly carefully cultivating an image of being seen as 'one of the good ones' and getting other humans to see her as trustworthy and 'safe' (even though sometimes it just makes her even more angry)
