I'm not gonna front with yall... my mental health hasn't been too tubular as of late...

i mentioned this to my therapist, dr. gekkogahara, and she told me that when you're feeling depressed, it can be good to do things you enjoyed doing when you were a kid, before the going got tough.

when she said that, it reminded me of when i was really little, probably around three for four, when my granddad had a box full of oil pastels and a jumbo drawing pad in his study, and that he would let me scribble and draw on it with the pastels whenever i went to visit.

so i went out, got some pastels and a sketchpad, and ive been making little drawings the past few days!

this here is one of my most recent pieces. it's a house!

I'm not very good at it yet...

but that's okay! you don't have to be the best at something to enjoy doing it!

okay yall, update! I've escaped the clutches of my raccoon assailants and am now in the process of recovery!

for those of you who may be worrying about me getting rabies, i had a bad habit of getting into physical altercations with wild animals when i was a kid, so i have all my shots!
