"I gotta see it to believe it, buddy." Sienna smiled, obviously having a bit too much fun teasing the boy. "Hey, I don’t— okay, maybe I do, but you cannot lie and say you don’t complain." This was getting all too sentimental for the girl to handle. First, they were agreeing on things. Second, they were planning things together. Third, they were having an ordinary conversation, in a room together. What was normal about that? When it came to Sienna, things were never normal, and things usually never stayed the same afterwards. But maybe, just maybe, things changing, espeically between the two of them wouldn’t be a bad thing, unlike all the other things that changed in her life. Maybe this was going to, finally, turn out for the better. "Too late. You’ve just upped my ego by like, a thousand. I’ll forever hold this against you now." In that moment, Sienna decided she was going to let it be what it was going to destine to be, and she wasn’t going to change anything in the course… Maybe. "Hey, I’m not going to give you false hope. You never know, I might wake up tomorrow and decide you’re on the top of my hit list." The blonde shrugged, "But, to lighten things, I don’t think that’ll be the case."
Sienna stood there, smiling a little at the words he said, trying to connect his words with a meaning other than the obvious one. She instantly thought about asking him to look at these journals, maybe getting a better understanding of the boy, but decided to save it for a rainy day. “You’re a good guy, Theo.” She spoke, taking a seat next to the boy. “And I’m sorry that you got cursed with this big mess, that others seem to call life. And I’m sorry that you somehow got twisted into my life, and into the mess that came along with it, and if everything works out, I really hope you end up happier than ever, because you deserve that.” With that, the girl smiled, hoping she had said enough. “I like that,” She responded as he agreed to calling it their spot. “Our spot.”
The older male nodded once, "Fine. You, me, tomorrow evening. I'll show you." Theo knew the girl might not have taken him seriously, but he didn't feel the need to convince her. He would get the chance to prove it once the time had come. "Yeah, I won't lie. I am guilty of that, but in my defense, I think everyone complains a bit. And you certainly do so more than me. Just sayin'," his face put on a grin. He found himself enjoying the moment being shared between the pair. He wasn't lucky in the friends department, he was more of an acquaintance sort of guy; not by choice, though. Establishing connections was not something that came easy to him and most of the time he preferred to be alone, anyway. Being alone meant there was no reason to hide, no reason to be someone else to shield yourself from the potential of getting hurt. Sadly, the things he watched his mother experience growing up had stuck with him. Spilling his heart and soul into his journals wouldn't change that, and he knew it.
An eyebrow raised at Sienna's next statement, a small smile becoming evident once she had taken a seat beside him. "I didn't think that was something I'd ever hear from you," he said truthfully before shaking his head. "No, you need to stop that." Theo turned his body so he was facing the girl, unable to stop his hand as it gently cupped the blonde's cheek. "It's not me who deserves the happy ending," his thumb began to rub her cheek, "It's you. You've experienced a huge tragedy, one nobody deserves to experience, and you've been forced to deal with that on your own. You've done the best you can with what you were given, and from what I can tell, nobody has taken the time to really see if you were okay." When silence began to fill the room, he suddenly became aware of just what his hand was doing and he quickly pulled away, turning away. "I meant what I said, though. Both what I just said, and about how you can come to me if you ever want to talk or just get away. My door is always open." He tossed a smile towards his feet. "I like it, too. It seems right."
