These little suckers have natural coarse hair as it is part of their breed. Their hair will grow to naturally form like this

Boom, dog with natural locks

Now this is a dog that has non coarse, the Cocker Spaniel

And this is what it looks like due to lack of grooming.

This is unnatural for this breed to have “locks” (this is what y’all look like and I’m not even exaggerating)
