I found their[i cant remember their pronouns rn] blog a few months ago, and absolutely fell in love. I loved their dividers, their text posts, and all the freestyling on their blog!

September:
On september 10th, 2024, we created a post called "Agere Backpack ideas"! The next day [Sep 11th, 24], while scrolling through a creator i also thoroughly enjoy, i saw a post they had reblogged.... It was our backpack ideas, but it wasnt written by me... in fact, it was re-uploaded by someone who i thought created interesting content. I commented under the original post to take it down as we did not consent to our work getting re-uploaded. They deleted our comment. A few days later after fd calmed me from my panic attack, we sent an ask to take down our post as we did not consent to our content being reposted. At the start of our blog, i did have "do not rewrite" on our blog, however because nothing ever happened, i took it away when we changed into the space station nursery. They deleted our ask. a week or more later [unfortunately i dont remember at this point anymore] They closed asks under the guise of "getting hate"

Current:
After everything happened, fd scoured around to create a blacklist. At this time, i had finally calmed down, and was ready to blacklist. Before we got to it tho, i saw a post created by another agere creator in which Koda had stolen from. This creator asks that all followers or people interacting report if their content was being reposted, as koda had taken one of their posts, and it got SIGNIFICANTLY more notes, as well as Koda copying their DNI banner, just changing the font and small images on the side:

This is not the only instance of this happening with Koda, and no "but they add credits" is not a viable defense here. We did not tell them they could do this, and they did not ask, by the looks of all posts, they didnt ask ANYONE to use their posts. The little credits at the bottom is also hard to see, especially by those who are visually impaired. I had an almost blind friend check out their post, and that friend couldnt even see the credits without us zooming in and circling it for the friend to see. Thats a problem. And people who see it but dont think much of it [like me] will not click the credits. I didnt. and i apologize to those whom i contributed to as apart of the problem

Well, before we get to the NSFW they interact with, lets go with the tracing and stealing. Thank you to the person that sent us this [will not name for the safey of the individual but they are free to comment and let you guys know! They sent a non anonymous ask but still, yknow?]

This is a screenshot sent to us that shows a user by the name of @/b4bybear_ , crediting their BF and CG @/SEABUNE for creating an image we all know and love, and have MOST LIKELY SEEN amongst agere intros [all blue markings have been made by me]
As you can see in the second image, the user is written on the bottom, exactly how its written on the twitter post. This image is widely available, and many many individuals use it..... However, Koda didnt seem to care
As you can see, Koda NOT ONLY traced, changed a singular item, and erased the original creators credits, they then wrote their own name on the bottom and claimed this post as their own. And no, changing one thing on an art post while still tracing everything else is not "creating your own content" or "taking inspo" This is blatant copying. This is further than just stealing text posts, they are stealing

op you are honestly bordering on cruel and really fucking weird for this. me when i spread misinfo on the internet
so. like. for starters. people who are homeless and in poverty can have access to social media. Palestinians have technology, and some have access to eSims which is why those are so important to donate and they help Palestinians keep in contact with family and loved ones.
i don't know what part of undergoing a genocide instantly removes your access to the phones or technology you had before? as highlighted by others in the reblogs, you can still have access to technology and social media while in poverty, while suffering from genocide and starvation. "omg guys i'm so smart they are using the internet they're on Tumblr 😭...like Obviously they're lying" like wow. that's kind of the opposite of common sense. idk. they don't confiscate your phones when you become homeless or poor.
and it's one thing to personally believe this but it's another to come online and preach it to your followers and anyone else who will listen by spreading blatant fake info. like if you're going to be stupid keep it to yourself. no one is holding you at gunpoint forcing you to answer these asks in your inbox.
some of them are scammers this is true you need to be careful and aware of which ones you share. however you just have to check the blog and search if they are properly vetted [the vetting process regards to very specific blogs having verified that they are in fact a real person who actually need help] or by doing a quick search for any posts with their username in it to see if they have been disproven as a scam. if you can't find something and are not sure you are not forced to reblog it. i have gotten some that are not real, however some of them are in fact real. there is a specifically list of vetted fundraisers. in fact here's a masterpost provided by @/el-shab-hussein that discusses vetting, and has access to the link to the google spreadsheet that has hundreds of vetted fundraisers and their campaigns.
i have a vague feeling this is related to the anti-Palestine and donation focused smear campaign shit that has been going down recently across the internet and Especially on tumblr but like yeah. whatever. my two cents & knowledge on it all sorry if i'm being mean but you can't come on here and say weird shit like this.

im still into this aesthetic and vibe and am not looking to like change my online presentation
but idk my views and what i’m comfortable with have changed so much. i was like 18/19 and now im almost 26 and i just have so much gunk stuck up in this blog from all the time passed. feeling more and more inclined to get rid of it but change is ahhh
it is happening !!! i’m so excited
it’s gonna be slow and i don’t think i’m gonna deactivate, just make this an archive. but ya i came up with a cute idea to keep my interests more separated and organized and also just be able to implement my boundaries better

1. How to NOT steal stuff!
Any work with the tag “Free to use” (also known as “F2U”) means that they are allowed to be reposted, used in collages, edits etc. Just check if credits are needed!
For Artworks:
Your first need to check if the artist allows reposting of their work or the use of them for collages, if they allow, then you link to their original post and state who drew the pics of art
For GIF’s + non-product photos:
Credit to the original post! Or at least as far back as you can find it!
Usually photos of products such as toys, plushies, accessories etc made by big brands are easy to spot and know where they came from (ex: blogs that post PNG’s usually don’t need to credit all their sources), but, small business/hand crafted works should always be credited!
Reposting moodboards:
Similar to artworks, first ask permission to repost, if allowed link to the original creator!
“But they said “no”!”:
Then don’t do it! Even with credits! Don’t do it! Is as simple as that! Respect others right to say no!
2. How do I identify stolen work?
There are many giveaways of stolen posts, such as:
• Low photo quality
• Watermarks that don’t match
• Lack of information about what was made (for who it was etc)
• Unable to answer simple questions such as what brush they used or long it took

1. Inform the person that it’s your work and to either remove it or credit them
2. If it’s still not credited or taken down, report their post
3. If the report didn’t go anywhere or if the account is still doing it to yours and others content, please make an awareness post about it. Strength comes in numbers after all!

so someone rbd my grumpy post abt ppl not sourcing their moodboard content(they deleted it before i could reply even tho i wanted to help :( ) and part of the tags they put on it was asking what there is to use for moodboards instead of pinterest
it made me think of a really amazing post i remember seeing here that was a whole list of resources for stim/moodboard creators to find content that could be sourced properly or was open use content, which i cannot find to save my life now
but this post also seems like it could be a really great resource so i wanted to share it. ofc its more in depth than just resources, and the “finding images” section is what’s relevant to the issue, but it seems like rlly awesome info all around for ppl that want to make boards!
I totally get the dentist anxiety! I usually listen to music and just wear an ear bud on whatever side the tech isn't sitting on (so I can still hear if they need me to reposition) but it signals to them that I don't really want to talk + calms me down!! if it is so so hard then stop posting moodboards. that’s it. it’s super easy. if they’re genuinely enjoyable for you to create, making them without sharing them on social media under your own name will still make you happy. make them and keep them to yourself.
but when you take others content share it here under your own name with the intention of getting attention and notes like that you are literally stealing and it doesn’t matter if you found it on pinterest and it has no source or whatever that still doesn’t make it right. just bc tons of people do a wrong thing it doesn’t turn it into a right thing.
