Strange Encounters
“Now, now, I didn’t say they were dead, they may just be less protected now?” she didn’t stop the her from weeping. It’s best to release these things so it would do her well to rest.
“Besides, this has been a long day” Milady stood up and went to the futons and blankets, she pulled one out and prepared a resting area for the girl. “You must restore your energy, my dear” she closed the sliding doors and dimmed the lights. “I’ll be in the bath if you need me”
Rieta grabbed the futon cover and wrapped it around her shoulders. She let her tears fall onto the soft fabric.
So useless…
She was back where she started now, only a little less cramped. She slumped over on the mattress, still sobbing as she curled up. The small japanese style room was unfamiliar. She missed the warm glow of home, but she was so tired she still drifted to a dreamless sleep.
