but i'll give more premise for the au here

wemm is a half-demon that met egg when they pretty much children and they made a promise to the other to marry. wemm had just...come to collect on his promise right now while egg has forgotten it after so very long and now is set to marry minute who's been courting him since forever.

something that makes wemm upset given that egg promised to wait for him and kinda sees this as a act of betrayal that he ends up kidnapping minute during their wedding, telling egg that he has to go to the place where it began when they first met.

egg, of course, goes back there and tries to reason with wemm but the demon won't take no for a answer and egg agrees to marry him since he won't free minute otherwise.
