Japanese silly girl🇯🇵 I always use a translation app when speaking, so please forgive me if my phrasing sounds a bit odd.

I’ve written a post like this before, but since I’ve joined more fandoms recently, I’m going to write about myself again.

I have literally vowed to devote my life to Dreamtale AUs☀🌙︎🌟 I also love the works that have branched off from Dreamtale AUs and become original works(such as the latest DS, IBVS etc).

I use tags like "#snow’s requests!" and "#snow’s answer sessions"! to reply to messages sent to my ask box. I currently have nearly 110 messages(O_O) piled up...✉️ 𓈒𓏸 Also, since I reply in order of priority and ease of drawing, some messages may take over six months to get a response. Please only send me a message if you’re okay with that‼️‼️

Edit: When requesting art for works with a large cast of characters, such as DS or IBVS, please be sure to specify which characters you’d like me to draw. If you just write “all,” I won’t know who to draw‼️😭

I drew this "Grown-up IF" scenario featuring Geno and the others a while back, and the Bingo prompt was "My Favorite Theory"...😂 Personally, I have this interpretation that "the supernatural phenomena and the awakening of psychic abilities happening in Foxfield are caused by blood ties," but since I didn't deduce this from the story text itself, I feel like it's a pretty flawed theory. Well, it's just wishful thinking on my part. I just love stories where similar histories repeat themselves because of blood ties. Like in the Fire Emblem series or HoneyWorks’ for example.

I’m not really sure why Nolan betrayed Geno and the others, but I’m guessing it’s probably because, while Geno and the others could only join the cultural club, Nolan wanted to play football. Though I have absolutely no idea how interested Nolan is in sports to begin with!

Also, I don’t know if the School King at IBVS is always chosen from the sports clubs or not. That’s why I think it would be interesting if Geno were the first-ever School King from a cultural club. I can easily imagine the girls saying, “Geno’s from a cultural club, but he’s so cool!” Reuben would tell him, “Geno, don’t worry about what people say!” Geno, Reuben, and Cory will probably stay good friends from now on.

I saw your last post with Ben and Monica, and I'm wondering what kind of program you're drawing in. Does it look like Clip Studio paint? Do you have procreate?

Right now, I only use Clip Studio Paint!🖌 Until last year, I used both Ibis Paint and Clip Studio Paint, but now I’m completely used to Clip Studio Paint.

I only use Ibis Paint when Kimisen is coming up, to create menus for merchandise and doujinshi📖🗯🎀🎉

By the way, for the illustrations of Monika and Ben, I simply took a screenshot of the Clip Studio Paint screen, used the eyedropper tool to sample the surrounding colors, and applied those colors to their backgrounds. Very easy Imao

I am truly really absolutely definitely a huge idiot.

A little while ago, I accessed my files to look for some Nolan materials. But as I always do, an illustration from the “Vampires SMP AU” caught my eye along the way, so I found myself absentmindedly staring at their outfits and grinning to myself. That’s when it hit me: Justin and Niki had already been officially dressed in East Asian clothing.

I couldn’t move from where I was for a few seconds. We had already been blessed with the official IBVS × East Asia crossover.

Why didn’t I realize that Niki’s outfit in the “Vampires SMP AU” was a hakama when I drew her? I was absolutely convinced she was wearing a long skirt. I was drawing the collar of Niki's hakama, but I was convinced it was "just a piece of clothing designed that way." But when I looked at Justin’s outfit just now, I realized it was the kind of clothing typically worn by people from East Asia.

Why didn’t I notice this for half a year? As a Japanese person, I should probably commit seppuku to apologize to them.

It reminded me of when I was studying abroad in Australia and ordered an “ice chocolate”—only to have it piled high with syrup, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. In Japan, these are all extras that would cost hundreds of yen on top of the base price. If Australia has such an abundance of super-sweet treats, how on earth do people in the U.S. manage to stay in shape?

Since Foxfield High is a public school, I don’t think the cafeteria food is all that fancy. Yukine secretly ordered an ice chocolate at a café near her apartment that morning, but it must have been an impossible amount for her to finish. I guess she just didn’t get hungry until school was over…

I think Yukine has a habit of skipping both breakfast and lunch. That’s because she has a digestive disorder and can’t eat very much. Her friends worry about her, but she’s completely used to that kind of lifestyle by now. If she accidentally mentioned it to Nevin, I think he’d force her to eat his meals. And she’d want to make Nevin her very own personal chef.

Why is it that the IBVS fandom is full of people who draw their illustrations with such incredible attention to detail every single time? Plus, everyone post about as often as I do… Everyone should post more casual doodles like I do… Since I often draw characters that don’t get drawn very often, I try to include hashtags as long as the content isn’t sensitive… But if I were to only draw the main six characters and could only post really rough-looking art, I think I’d stop using hashtags.

and one more question, how do you look at fanfiction not with yaoi, but with yuri?

I’m sorry… I’m just so unfamiliar with foreign names that I ended up simply changing most of the characters’ names from male to female… But I know… that the meanings of their names perfectly match their personalities, their roles, and their very existence! That’s why I didn’t want to change the original meanings of their names. I wanted them to retain the meaning of their names even in the genderbend version… When I found out that the name “Louis/Louisa” means “knight,” I literally gasped out loud.

And, on a completely unrelated note, I thought about the kanji for the two students with Japanese names. Each kanji character has multiple meanings. It’s truly wonderful❣️ “moto” means “book” (wouldn’t you know it—she writes novels), and at the same time, it also means “truth.” “ni” means “compassion” in Confucianism.

Edit: I absolutely, absolutely want to write Yuri fanfiction someday!!!! There’s not enough Yuri in this fandom!!!! Deziki, Monichel, and all the other ships are my favorites, too!!!! Why is there so little of it!!!!! Yuri is so amazing… This fandom mainly focuses on Yaoi, but there should be more Yuri, too!!!!!!!
