stripes-and-blades:
Smellerbee nuzzled her cheek in his hair while he kissed her neck, whispering soft I love you’s, as Longshot brought her over to the bed, relishing in the feeling of his hands tightly gripping the bottom of her thighs before he gently placed her down. His next kiss, fervernt and fierce, told her that he didn’t need to utter a single word for her to understand just how much he loved her. Her throat hummed in response and approval, minutely vibrating the back of her mouth, legs dropping from around his hips to on the bed. She brought her hands to cup either side of his jaw, starting to pepper his lips with a flurry of sweet kisses, taking just enough time for her to suck on his bottom lip before continuing on to the next kiss, their lips sticking together until she moved an inch further away, but returning quickly.

Longshot nodded to the door when Smellerbee suddenly froze, silently encouraging her to unlock it. Once she did, the two of them took a few seconds to step inside and take in the sight, but Longshot didn’t allow them too much time because before she knew it, Smellerbee was in his arms, bridal style. Giving her a subtle smirk, the archer brought his lips to hers, kicking his foot backwards to shut the door.
Smellerbee barely had a chance to look around when she was suddenly lifted into the air - and into Longshot’s arms. Returning his smile, she grabbed his collar and roughly pulled him to her, their lips crashing together. Longshot began walking towards the bed, kissing her just as intensely as Smellerbee was with him, when something crossed her mind. Forcing herself to break away, she breathed, “Door… lock…” - just in case. Longshot nodded, understanding her despite the lack of instructions, and set her down to quickly lock the door behind them - ensuring that they couldn’t be interrupted. When he turned back, Smellerbee immediately jumped into his arms again and latched herself around him; her arms encircling his neck as her legs wrapped tightly around his waist, kissing him so fiercely that he stumbled back against the wall.
"Mmph!" came Longshot's muffled, surprised, yet pleased response as he staggered backwards and into the wall behind him. He held Smellerbee's thighs firmly, kissing her just as passionately as she was kissing him, until he slowed the motions of his lips, dragging her lower lip down until his were plastered to her neck. Instead of his usual animalistic nature, Longshot slowly sucked her warm flesh, kissing each pulse point as he made his way to the bed once more. He gently laid her on the bed as if she were the most delicate thing in the world, hovering over her to plant a searing kiss onto her lips.

“No, don’t do that,” Longshot said, grabbing her hand. It was her birthday, he wanted to do what she wanted to do. He’d suck it up for her, get over his discomfort in public places. It actually excited him and he didn’t want to continue to ruin the mood. “C’mon, let’s check it out,” he gave her a wink.
Under her bitten lip, a small smile crept through and with a tiny nod, she pulled him in for another kiss - longer and deeper than the previous one. “‘Kay,” she replied quietly, carrried in a breath with the grin still playing on her lips. Lacing her fingers with his, she led him from the long front of the building to the wider right side where the entrance door was. They walked in, two rows of rooms starting in front of and to the side of them - about 5 rooms making up each row. Smellerbee tugged at Longshot’s arm and began to walk up the stairs beside them, wood creaking quietly under their feet. When they got to the top, the couple walked down the hallway to their left, passing by a few rooms that had… questionable but, well-muffled sounds coming from them. Eyes widening for a split second, Smellerbee minutely dropped her head, blushing and now feeling a bit abashed. Arriving at their room’s door she cleared her throat, trying to regain her composure. “Well, uh…” She looked up at the door number, playing with the key in her hands again, “here we are…”
Longshot nodded to the door when Smellerbee suddenly froze, silently encouraging her to unlock it. Once she did, the two of them took a few seconds to step inside and take in the sight, but Longshot didn't allow them too much time because before she knew it, Smellerbee was in his arms, bridal style. Giving her a subtle smirk, the archer brought his lips to hers, kicking his foot backwards to shut the door.

“Hmmmm…” Longshot began with a smirk when Smellerbee returned, “That’s a tough one….” Shaking his head, he asked, “You sure you wanna do it in…here?”
Smellerbee blinked, a bit taken a back - she thought he’d be happy they had somewhere to stay. “Oh-h… ” Smellerbee rubbed her neck, now bashful, “w-well it’s about an hour walk back to the hideout, so…” She bit her lip, “a-and I already paid for it… we’re on the second floor back corner, but I don’t know if that’s…” Smellerbee sighed, dropping her arm. “Sorry, I’ll go return it if that’s what you want…” She stood in front of Longshot and bit the inside of her cheek, playing with the key in her fingers, self-conscious. Great, Smellerbee thought, she had to go mess up another thing again today. It was a stupid idea, all of this…
"No, don't do that," Longshot said, grabbing her hand. It was her birthday, he wanted to do what she wanted to do. He'd suck it up for her, get over his discomfort in public places. It actually excited him and he didn't want to continue to ruin the mood. "C'mon, let's check it out," he gave her a wink.

Shuddering, Longshot brought a hand up to Smellerbee’s wrist to remove her palm from his mouth. His lust-filled eyes locked with hers, which were dark and intimidating. The archer’s heart raced along with other physical reactions having to do with his arousal and slight anxiety from being out in public like that. “I think it’s time we got a room,” he whispered, his eyes now challenging hers as he began to creep out of submission.
Smellerbee kept her composed demeanor even though her heart raced just as fast as his, excitement increasing. She smirked and, leaning into his side, she whispered back, “And I’m inclined to agree…” Her grin widened as she slowly slid a hand down his chest and abs, reaching across his side to get to the pocket where she knew he had put the bag of coins in. “And I think I found the solution to what we’d spend these on…” Now dangling the bag, she let out a small, low laugh. Quickly grabbing one of his wrists, she sped out of the alley and into the street, scanning the village surroundings for a building she noticed earlier in the day… When her eyes spotted it, she hurried Longshot along, still dragging him by the arm. It was a small inn - a bed and breakfast - towards the outer edge of town - quaint and welcoming. Catching her breath once they arrived in front of the building, she pulled Longshot in for a quick but feverent kiss.
“Stay out here, I’ll take care of it,” she whispered breathlessly and flushed, smiling. Smellerbee darted into the entryway, straightening out her clothes as she walked up to the counter where a middle-aged woman, presumably the inn keeper, sat behind. They greeted each other before moving on to the topic of why Smellerbee had come in.
“I’m from a few towns over…” She explained, “and I came here with my… friend to see the festival, but we didn’t realize how late it had gotten…” Well, it was partially true, so it made it easier for her to seem convincing enough to not arouse suspicion. “And we don’t think it’d be safe for us to head back now…” For emphasis, she leaned in and whispered, “it’s on the other side of the forest and there’s been rumors about angry spirits residing there…” It took a good amount of self-control from her to not crack a grin at the fact the Freedom Fighters (sort of) had a reputation, albeit inaccurate. Returning to a normal posture and tone, she continued, “so, uh, we thought it’d be better for us to stay the night here and return in the morning.” Smellerbee gave a small smile, genuinely nervous, and bit her lip, “uhm, well, do you have a room available for us to stay the night?”
The woman nodded, smiling back, “of course dear.” As she went to pick up a key from a cubby built on the wall behind her, Smellerbee noticed that, under the womans green robes, she wore Fire Nation jewelry - gold bangles and ruby-red bracelets dangling off her wrists. Smellerbee tilted her head, perplexed - for the second time today she encountered someone of Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom relations. She snapped herself out the daze that had come over her just as the woman turned forward again.
“Here’s your key - you’ll be staying in room 205…” Peering just over Smellerbee’s shoulder, she was able to see a partial silhouette of a male figure out her window, standing outside. With a knowing smile, she added, “I assume a single bed will do, yes?” Instantly, Smellerbee’s cheeks warmed, knowing that she knew, and nodded. “Good,” the inn keeper replied. “Now, that will be thirty-five silver pieces amd fifteen copper.”
Smellerbee’s eyes widenes - she couldn’t remember how currency worked, especially if they used a Fire Nation system. “Uhhh… One second…” Smellerbee took out the pouch and rummaged through it, finding two gold pieces, only a few silver and a handle full of copper coins. “Uhm - is this enough?” She asked, holding out just the two gold pieces.
The woman chuckled, “plenty,” and took only one from her, replacing it with about a dozen or so silver and copper pieces, along with the key. Smellerbee let out a breath of relief.
“You are on the second floor at the end of the hallway.” The woman pointed with her thumb over her back, “the entry door is on the right side of the building and take the stairs on your left up to your floor and your room is at the back of the building, like I sad before.” Smellerbee nodded, acknowledging her words. “Breakfast is served until noon, but I do suggest you get there before then, while it’s fresh. Well, meaning, if you are able to…” She added, a slight glint in her eyes, having fun at the expense of the young lady’s embarrassment. “If there’s anything else you need, I’ll be down here until high-moon; after that, you’re out of luck - I need my beauty rest,” she chuckled.
Smellerbee smiled and bowed, “thank you for your hospitality.” Bowing back, the woman returned the sentiment. Smellerbee then went outside again, new excitment bubbling up in her system. Grinning, pleased with the her outcome, she sauntered over to Longshot, a small, sultry sway to her hips and in her step. She noticed he looked rather figity, which made it all the more fun for her. “Whooo-” She started, now within arms length of him, “is the best?” Smirking, she held up the metalic key, room number engraved at the top, lightly brushing it back and forth against his chest.
"Hmmmm..." Longshot began with a smirk when Smellerbee returned, "That's a tough one...." Shaking his head, he asked, "You sure you wanna do it in...here?"
