“I’m sorry, I didn’t really understand. What did you say?” this 6’5” of a man looks down at Barry while he fixes the slit in his dress “Are you alright?”

“B,” He starts, moving to grab ahold of the other’s hands with that soft smile still on his face. “Bruce, my heart. It’s okay. You know I love your affections and touch. The outfit doesn’t change that.”

Barry’s hands let go of Bruce’s to instead cup his face.

“I’m completely sure.”

“Okay.” he wants to rest his head on Barry’s shoulder like normal but he’s so exposed he’s almost scared to touch him.

He gives a soft snort, as if able to tell what Bruce is thinking before softly using the hands on his face to pull him closer. He gives his fiancé as soft kiss before wrapping him in a hug, and pressing his face against him.

The flush that would be on his face if it could be is an absurd amount. He rests his head and hugs him even though he’s very embarrassed

Hal was still wearing one of Barry's hoodies, they fix up the box they were holding and making sure there was no danger of it falling or something equal. When they finally spot Barry, it chirps in a calling tune before running after him and then slowing down the moment it reaches him.

"Gifts!" Hal chirps happily, still carefully holding the box.

Barry’s cheeks redden at the sight of Hal in one of his hoodies- not just any of them, but the one that is well known as his favourite, his most cherished one. Seeing Hal in it- that he accepted it- it makes him grin so wide.

And he happily accepts the box.

“Sweetheart, you didn’t need to-“

Hal smiles at seeing the box get accepted, chirping happily before pulling up the hood from the hoodie- It's warm like Bear, and it smells like him too!! -and then shakes it's head with a small buzz when hearing what he said.

"No, needed to! Gotta make mate happy. Also! Accepted proposal!!" They thrill even more happy, wings flapping behind their back before they settle down, they wait for Barry's reaction to finding out what inside the box. Hopefully he will like it.

Barry leans over and presses a kiss to Hal’s cheek, wanting to stop and cover him with kisses.

“My sweetheart, my love.”

He pulls back enough to focus on the box, excitement clear on his face as he starts opening it.

Hal coo's happily at the kiss, nuzzling Barry back before also kissing him.

"Mhm! My gold, my precious!!"

Hal perks up at that and also focus on what Barry is doing, hoping he likes the gifts.

He practically melts at all the things in the box, a bright grin easily appearing at the sight of it all, but the first thing he focuses on is the feather, larger than the one he’s already been gifted.

“Oh sweetie- it’s perfect.”

Hal pupils dilate at hearing that, feathers ruffling excited as they hear what Barry said. Excitement and relief mixing in one at having their proposal accepted, oh humans usually have a ring too right? Hmm,,, it'll make one later!! It can't be that hard-

"..Really? I'm glad! Will get you a ring one day!" Ha chirps excited, tail ruffling as it looks a Barry.

Barry leans forward and presses a kiss full of affection and adoration to Hal’s lips.

“Gonna wear it for everyone to see, I’ll make it a necklace and wear it near my heart.”

Hal didn't hesitate to kiss him back- Barry's and Bruce's touch always felt like those smelly drinks, alcohol or so they call it, in others words it's intoxicating. And it'll be damned if it won't drown in it..because it will. -cupping it's lover face.

"..Loves you lots lots. So so much." Hal says while still looking at Barry, looking into his eyes- Hal adores those eyes, it's so easy to get lost and them. -while smilling lovesick.

“Can’t wait for you to be my husband- my mate.”

The words don’t have the same effect on him as he knows they will on Hal, but it soothes something in him, a sort of possessiveness he has for his partners that he can’t control at times.

Hal nuzzles Barry, hugging him close- Being careful just in case he was still holding the box. -while letting out a series of happy chirps and clicks. They love their mates so much, it would die for them. It truly would.

Barry moves enough to carefully set the box aside before wrapping his arms around Hal and holding him as close as her can.

Hal chirps happy, opening it's wings to wrap them around Barry in a makeshift cocoon while nuzzling him. They love their mate so much.
