started fiddling around with the toad demon part of Merry's design at first, ended up drawing a lot of whoever this is because I certainly didn't stay on track lol. behold my rock tumbler method of slowly sanding out shapes over the course of 10-ish compressed sketchbook pages

More 60/60 comms for Catoperated, Aqua-Arcs, and an anonymous client (in that order)! I'm really liking how much I gotta lock tf in to do these with the self-imposed time limit (plus a liiiittle more time for cleanup...), they've been turning out TASTY.

bonus: the first and last characters in this batch are both weird arthropod faeries of completely different creators, so I just really like that I'm attracting that sort of energy

I do think I may offer these for streaming comms soon even if they run a little long, I really want to try them with live feedback at some point...

two of my recent 60$/60min commission speed tests, for Mimes of his character Blanche and Dianeramic of Nikolia, respectively! I took pretty different approaches with these so it's fun to see them together!

60$ comms, testing to see if I can do my dollar/minute rate still (and maybe revive live commission streams) or if I'll take too long lol. As you might have guessed, I try to do these in about an hour, with the finish level/detail of the final result varying based on prompt complexity.

the vibes dissonance of ppl online can be crazy. did you know the artist behind those cutesy crow comics that do big numbers on here ran hiveworks into the ground so hard that 100 artists who worked w them came together to put out a statement abt how they and their work had been absolutely fucked by the incompetency and malice of it all

fiddling with shapes both for a potential fly halloween costume and to put down ideas on a character ive never really figured out how to stylize right (little devil fly guy). Fly snouts are really cute but tricky to stylize in a way that can make relatable expressions (uncertain if this is my final iteration on the solution too, may change the design)
