Valentine's Day

Vanitas rolled his head back and groaned, "Why does this day have to come every year? It's such a dumb holiday too. You just by shit for someone else only to be rejected and crushed half the time."

In fact, he found it a huge relief that no one apprached him with candies and confessions. Sometimes he thought it was nice to have someone by his side and accepted all his fault, but that was only a fantasy. He had hurt too many people, and done so many terrible things that he refused to get close to anyone now.

He knew taking a stroll through town wasn't going to help his grouchy mood, but couldn't take being couped up in his apartment that much longer. There had to be something he could do today that didn't involve being suffocated by the image of tongues shoved down peoples throats in public. Right?
