Hello lovelies, I am VERY aware that I haven't been active for 3 months and I just wanted to apologize for that.

I assumed that because most of us are in quarantine them I'd be able to write my hearts' desire but it turned out to be the opposite because I've lost interest in writing (or I'm having a writers block in simpler words), but I promise that the requests I received will be written and posted, hopefully soon.

At the moment, I'll probably just leave this blog for a while BUT I promise to return. And hopefully when I do, I'll be finished with the requests.

Again, I deeply apologize to those who requested and are waiting hopefully patiently.

tips to improve your tumblr experience

don’t desperately try to aproach popular bloggers, befriend someone that’s reachable instead

randomly send nice messages to people on your dash

if you see a sad post on your dash, always ask the poster if they’re ok

compliment others out of the blue

blacklist anything that makes you uncomfortable

unfollow blogs if you don’t like their posts anymore, even if they’re friends. they’ll understand.

keep the fuck away from drama

know that publicly voicing an opinion has consequences, if you’re not ready to deal with them, talk to mutuals/friends privately instead of making a post

if you need attention, don’t reblog those askgames, send asks to people/friends instead (askgames are usually disappointing if you’re not a popular blog)

blog for yourself, not your followers

you can even install a thing that hides your follower count if you find yourself checking that number too often

if you get hate, block them and delete it immediately. don’t read it and definitely don’t reread it and most definitely don’t beat yourself up about it

keep your dash varied, even if your blog is focused on one thing. seeing something different on your dash every once in a while is refreshing.

Dear writers/authors...

Whether you write a story consistently or not, it's OK.

Whether you write a story or two in a week, it's OK.

Whether you write a story and lose the inspiration behind it and decide to leave it as it is, it's OK.

Being a writer doesn't always mean you have to write a dozen times a day. You lose inspiration? Just wait until it comes back, no need to force yourself into writing something because it's how people see you.

Deciding to take a break in writing to gather inspiration and ideas doesn't make you any less of a writer.

Deciding to fend for yourself first before continuing your stories doesn't make you any less of a writer.

Deciding to stop writing a particular story because the spark you once had with it disappeared, doesn't make you any less of a writer.

Always remember that as a writer, you should always have yourself at the top of your priority list. Who cares what others say about you when you take a little break? They're only able to see the [undoubtedly beautiful] stories projected to them without knowing what inspired the story behind it; it's their problem if they can't accept the fact that sometimes it takes time to create a masterpiece.

Always remember that perfection takes time.

To the wonderful writers out there who are feeling pressured to write, update, and post a story in a daily, never feel the need to be pressured, because you deserve to enjoy the process of your written stories as much as a reader enjoys reading the wonderful piece you've created.
