Hello! I am years late to the Jolex fan fiction game and recently came across (and devoured) all of your work! I’m wondering if you still have pictures of who you imagine for little Lyla and Alex. Also, a lot of the short stories/one shots appear to be dead links on other people’s tumblrs now. Is there anyway to get an updated master post?? Hi! :) I actually am not very active on tumblr anymore because I’m SUPER busy with a lot of other projects right now but I just saw your message and thought I’d reply to it. I’m so sorry but I don’t have access to the stories that lead to dead links, as my close friend deleted her tumblr and I have no way of getting the stories that were co-written by her anymore. However, if you have any specific stories that were broken links, I could try to sift through the old google account that we used to share when I have free time and try to find those stories. As for the kids, I actually know the lyla and baby alex face claims personally, which is how I got the photos of them. I still have close contact with them on occasion, so I do have access to them but I don’t post them publicly anymore. If you have a personal tumblr, you can shoot me a private message and I’d be more than willing to show them off there because they’re adorable kids and I’m positive their parents wouldn’t mind. I’m sorry I don’t have anymore content for you to read! It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago for me, but it was actually five years ago that I ran that little world! In your experience, are authors of older multi-chapter fics ever annoyed by people who comment on every chapter rather than just the most recent one? Is it weird to post thoughts/guesses about what might happen next when those questions have probably already been answered in later chapters? How can you tell when it's becoming obnoxious? Signed, a reader who is bad at picking up on social cues
Personally, I love it when readers do that. It brings back the kind of rush I got when I was writing/posting each chapter for the first time. I get all giddy and have to force myself not to reveal spoilers and I wait with increasing glee for each new comment to hit my inbox.
I have literally put my afternoon plans on hold in order to be able to reply in real time, I love it that much.
It has never been obnoxious to me, so I don’t really have any idea of what could make it annoying? It lights up my day and warms my heart and I can’t stop smiling for a week afterwards. ❤❤
Every writer is gonna be different, but i’m gonna add myself to the roster of Team Never Annoyed At Repeat Commenters.

I love one word reactions at the end of an intense chapter left on a cliffhanger and then the follow up comment when things resolve.
I love them all! And I encourage all readers to consider commenting more frequently on long fics, especially if they’re completed. You don’t have to wait til the end to talk about things.
