Learning about the shitshow that is going down with MAWS, I'm kind of glad that I forgot to pay HBO this month.
I literally got HBO to watch the Reign of the Supermen movie (which is now missing) to see Conner because I love his character. I began to watch season 3 of MAWS (not being interested in the other 2 seasons) because Conner was advertised to be in it.
But NOPE! IT WAS ACTUALLY PAINFULLY BORING NEPO BABY SUPERBOY THAT DC HAS NOT HAD ANY IDEA AS TO WHAT TO DO WITH HIM IN ALMOST A DECADE INSTEAD, STEALING HIS PERSONALITY AND LOOKS FROM HIS BROTHER ALL TO MAKE A TERMINATOR REFERENCE, THE SAME WAY THEY GAVE HIM CONNER'S BOOK AND CHRIS KENT ARC :D
Yeah fuck that shit. Glad I didn't waste my time. And honestly? my respect to the animators and all but whoever got the idea to do the whole fake advertisement thing and use it to "reference" Conner, knowing full well that nobody gives a shit about Jon in any meaningful way that they need to do the advertisement in the first place, please rethink your life. You didn't gain more audience, you just lost it, I'm the example of that.
WHY couldn't you just use the character as it is? If you want to use Conner, use Conner. If you want Jon, use Jon. DON'T MAKE JON LOOK LIKE CONNER.
