for the small amount of interaction i’ve had since setting up this blog, it’s begun to feel just cluttered and aimless and is generally stressing me out soo i’ve decided to clear up and start again !!  feel free to follow  ( link below )  if you’re still interested in interacting.

HERE is the new blog, under the same url as this one.

a lot of threads will be DROPPED and RELATIONSHIPS ERASED, with a few exceptions  ( see below ).  i want this to be a totally fresh start. below is a list of all threads i am currently  ( consciously )  involved in. EXCEPTIONS to dropping / erasing are marked with a *** and  ( for most )  a lil note. if our thread is on here and not marked but you’d like to either continue it or plot something new, just send me a message !

“ MAYBE, maybe not. depending on how tough this  asshole is. obviously no one’s caught ‘em. ” she seemed  edgy enough to stur the pot some more, sam was a bit  nervous in letting someone else in the loop. “ i don’t think  it’s WISE to drag you into this. because, y’know, being protective  and all. ”

“  well, again, i don’t need anyone to PROTECT me.  ” her head tilted a fraction to the side as if tackling an inward debate.    gaze wandered for a few moments, quickly checking  their surroundings before landing back on her.   “  did i ever catch your NAME ? ”

            When that embarrassing moment finally  ended and he  hurried back on             his feet, with the tools  safely under his harms, an  expression of  relief             spread across his face and his lips curved into the  tiniest of  smiles. He             straightened  up just to make the  impression  of being a  normal person,             but as soon as he heard her voice his shoulders  slumped back  forming                                                                                                      his  usual posture. (He almost lost his grip on the tools again.)                                     His voice had stopped working and not a single sound left                                    his throat. Irrational   fear   held him captive, no he wasn’t                                    just  shy, he was  afraid  and  nervous  and not  at  all shy. 

“ I - I should’ve wat - watched my way… ’m so sorry. ”

another apology was springing on the tip of her tongue but she cut it off, biting her lip before letting out a breathy laugh instead.  a hand went up to pull fingers through her hair  ( a natural habit, there to occupy hands that didn’t know what to DO with themselves ),    trying to get relieve a little of the TENSION.

          “  OK, OK ———  we’re  both  sorry,  can  we  stop              rather than standing here APOLOGISING all day ? ”

Hans nodded to the young females words, but not looked at her as he focused on the small mammal before him        it was in relatively bad shape & perhaps didn’t have a great shot at healing, but Hans was never one for GIVING UP & he felt bad for the young girl who had, with no foul intention, harmed the poor creature. ❛ I’ll do all that I can, but if by some poor fate the little guy doesn’t make it- you mustn’t blame yourself. ❜ He said in a low & distracted voice. He had seen these types of accidents before & knew just how GUILTY man could get over hurting such an innocent creature. More so than hurting a person -       quite fascinating.

she’s had her fair share. hurting people for reasons she could feel a little guilty about and move past it. accidents happen. but——— it’s a DOG. what kind of asshole hurts a DOG ??  and hearing ‘ if he doesn’t make it ’ made her stomach flip, and a little girl inside her felt like crying.  but she swallowed, forcing herself to nod like an ADULT  ( god, how little she feels like one sometimes )  as if she could distance herself  from the little creature.   “  ok...  ”   all there really was to do was hover there awkwardly, not sure if it’s best to STAY or go. hopefully she’s got enough MONEY for this.

                         every now  &  then katie was happy to leave things to chance ——-                to tap some coordinates as she fancied and find herself somewhere totally                RANDOM. she’d had great adventures from it too; seen some cool places.

                                             this was not one of them.

          this was a swamp , and a DAMP one too. smelt like it had RAINED recently.           even a particularly STURDY pair of katie’s boots were half soaked.     it was           probably four or five am, a  little  pale  light  managing  to  filter  through  but           NAVIGATING wasn’t easy. nothing but the sound of water, and insects. and           ... was that fleetwood mac ?

                                         “  someone THERE ?  ”

she called out in the vague direction of the ALIEN noise,  turning  a  half  circle  to  try  and  locate  it.

             He certainly was not expecting the offer, especially not after everything else. But it was a pleasant surprise, and certainly something to ease his boredom. Pass a little bit of time while he was letting his superiors at Starfleet address his crew… without him. He half had a good mind to beam back aboard secretly, but he knew the chances of it staying a secret were slim, and Carter would be furious. So, here he was instead. “That sounds just lovely,” he said with a smile.

                    “  well alright. one sec.  ”

she stood there a little awkwardly for a couple of moments before disappearing back into the ship. her bag was sitting my the door as usual, so all she needed was to grab that and a little gps thing she carried around  ( necessary, after years of getting lost on strange planets ).  she glanced over briefly to the gun sitting on a shelf nearby and brushed the thought away. abandoned planet, right ?  so katie left it, re-emerging and tapping a code into the keypad to slide the door shut behind her.

               “ cool. let’s go. ”

   there was a faint smile creasing on aspen’s face, but it did not blossom. aspen      grasped her hand, her eyes watching carefully so the other did not falter and fall    once more. she waited until the ground beneath them was flat before she spoke    again.   ❛ As long as you’re sure. ❜  once again, aspen’s eyes glanced over the    other, searching for any injury that was beyond a bruise. ❛ Is there somewhere I      can help you to? Or someone I can call? ❜  

“  mmyeah.  ”   she stepped fairly aimlessly in one direction then the other, as if looking for something that she didn’t KNOW. an unsteady gaze landed back on the other woman, one eyebrow cocking at the question.   “  nope, no some- ones... got a somewhere but...  ”   she stopped then, suddenly all INNOCENT and silenced herself with a swallow of the bottle in her hand. in a bad attempt to change the subject, she held the thing out to her in offering. “ want some ?  ”
