This post is directly for @/skyvar who has since blocked me, but lots of interesting observations were made that I felt the need to correct.
Just for the record, because a reply was linked to me-- I thought I would clarify some points about this whole thing since you yourself made a lot of frankly weird assumptions:
That post was originally linked to me by a friend who knows I care about Orihime and how I have gotten angry on her behalf for years at fans mistreating her or misinterpreting her traumatic responses. I did not stalk, nor snoop your blog (quite the bold accusation for someone who completely ignored what I was actually saying). Frankly, I forget you exist 99% of the time unless someone posts a link, that’s how much you don’t exist on my radar. From the beginning, I found your content, your art, and the way you interact with others to be entirely offputting, and I have no interest in interacting with you. So I blocked you, and forget you exist until someone reminds me.
However, we find ourselves in this current situation because you misunderstood what I was saying.
The reply I made to your post was not a dig at Nnoitra specifically. Yes, I called him a “mediocre male fav” in a follow-up post, but I was specifically talking about how plain fucking weird it is that you, the human behind the screen, saw a scene of a 16-year-old getting sexually assaulted and your response was to make a comment implying how “hot” Nnoitra’s fingers are. I already know Nnoitra is a villain, you don’t have to explain it to me. I understand villains can be nuanced and do bad things for all sorts of different reasons, even to the point that those bad things are justified in their minds. I write several characters I disagree with when it comes to their sense of morality and justice-- I would even classify Unohana herself as a villain according to my own sense of morality. I’m not the single-minded idiot you apparently think I am.
What I’m saying here has nothing to do with my opinions on fictional characters, it has to do with how you, personally, have posted something disgusting, and your response (to completely deflect, make this seem as if I’m some lunatic for “attacking Nnoitra” when you know damn well that isn’t what’s happening at all) to try and paint me as your personal stalker is even more strange. I don’t care about you at all. I didn’t even know you go by Snow until someone else told me. There is no space for you to occupy in my mind, but that doesn’t mean I won’t call out or react to foul behavior when I see it.
That said, anyone who is bothered by me addressing this issue, feel free to block me! I don’t mind, and frankly, I don’t want you here. This will be my last post on the matter.
