GOTHAM –
Wall-to-wall traffic isn’t an unusual sight for a Friday morning on the roadways leading into South Jersey. Far from it. This Friday morning, blame for the standstill on Deleware Bay’s Unity Bridge lay squarely on Gotham City. Neither is this fact out of the ordinary.
But this morning, the main streets of Gotham flooded not with panicked evacuees but with tens of thousands of determined volunteers, stretching across miles and miles of the city.
Today, Gotham’s many children shared a common goal: recovery and cleanup efforts following a two-day trail of destruction one state official called “pretty unprecedented, even for Gotham.”

Two Arkham breakouts, a big bloody ninja party, a disastrous and murderous drug deal, a clown kidnapping — objectively, the vigilante known as the Buzzard (and also, sometimes, as Tim Drake) is having a pretty long day.
But enough about him. It’s time to focus on the real unsung hero of this story.

Chapter 36 of The Buzzard is live!
Before the death of the Joker, before the slaughter of dozens of League of Assassins ninjas, before a well-timed Arkham breakout, before the Drake family home was destroyed in a fire, before Bruce Wayne’s acquisition of Drake Industries, and before the Buzzard, there was a grieving teenager named Tim Drake.
And there was his teacher, Slade Wilson, also known as the deadly mercenary Deathstroke. Without his tutelage, the Buzzard wouldn’t be the vigilante he is today.
Not that Slade cares. He doesn’t care about anything at all.

So where does that leave Batman and the rest of the vigilantes of Gotham?
Yeah, they don’t know either. Anybody want a cigarette?

Chapter 32 of the Buzzard is live!

The infamous death of the second Robin, Jason Todd, at the hands of the Joker sent shockwaves through Gotham. His foster brother, Dick Grayson, raged and then mourned; his foster father, Bruce Wayne, mourned and then raged.
Meanwhile, lifelong Batman and Robin superfan Tim Drake was deeply shaken by the death of one of his heroes (Yeah, he knows their identities. Don’t worry about it. It’s not creepy).
A few years passed. Bruce Wayne discovered his long-lost son, Damien, and found a new Robin in Tim’s best friend, Stephanie Brown. Tim lost both of his parents, and took over leadership of their company.
And then Tim learned the news: Jason Todd was back.
But he’d come back wrong.
So Tim did what any reasonable person would do: He spent a year training with some of the most dangerous people alive before returning to Gotham as a new vigilante, the Buzzard. Buzzard’s one goal: to help the Red Hood reconnect with his family.
Yeah. So that then. That was a couple of hostage situations, an assassination attempt, several pissed-off heroes (try the entire Justice League), several more pissed-off villains (try the entire League of Assassins), a narrowly avoided death by strangulation, a fire of dubious origin, a prison break, two doses of a deadly designer drug, and dozens and dozens of dead bodies ago.
This is now. Tim might not be walking away from this one, but maybe the Buzzard still can. Whether anything will be left when he does is another story.

Meet Tim Drake, a Gotham teenager who also moonlights as a vigilante known as the Buzzard is under attack. It’s not easy, especially when he’s been after being under the Buzzard is beset by enemies all side but he will destroy he will overcome. All Tim needs to do is use the has to remember the aid of his patron and the training of his masters and Buzzard will dominate and it will be effortless. He can still make it Fun, even! A game! And he will win the game!
He’s kind of having a long day.

Tim Drake, also known as the Gotham Vigilante Buzzard, isn’t having the best day, but things could be worse.
Sure, Buzzard’s been attacked. He’s been injured. He’s been kidnapped. He’s covered in blood. He’s been poisoned. Wait, this isn’t his blood. He’s let down everyone he’s cared about. Whose blood is this? He’s being closed in on all sides by the most terrifying and most powerful forces in Gotham, friend and foe alike. Not that he has any friends left to speak of. He’s lost time, and he can’t be sure how much. Why is there so much blood? His dead parents won’t shut up.
Actually, it’s possible Tim’s day couldn’t be worse. But with Batman and his allies doing everything they can to track Tim down and save him, things have to look up soon, right?
You’ve always been so optimistic, Timothy. And it’s always been such a waste of time.

Tim Drake is a teenager, a dropout, an orphan, a millionaire, a former protege of Slade Wilson and Lady Shiva, and a (one-time) houseguest of the Wayne family. He’s also a Gotham vigilante known as the Buzzard.
He’s also been kidnapped.
Now that Tim’s secret is out of the bag, it’s up to the Bats and the Red Hood to put their differences aside (Roy Harper is also there) and find Tim before anybody else gets hurt.
But it might already be too late….

After the death of his hero, Robin (aka Jason Todd), Tim Drake did what any normal teenager would do; he dropped out of school, left Gotham for a year to train under Lady Shiva and Slade Wilson, then returned home as the independent vigilante Buzzard.
Things kind of spiraled from there, and Tim is missing, taken hostage (again) by some of the most dangerous rogues out there (again).
Now it’s up to Batman, Robin (Stephanie Brown), Oracle, Damian, Cass, the Red Hood, and …..Roy Harper, for some reason, to try to save Tim. But where is he? Why was he taken? Will Jason and his former family be able to put their differences aside to save him?
And what, exactly, is so funny?

TIm’s down, but he’s not Out yet. He’s overcome terrible odds and sUrvived before. At least at this point, he can take solace in the certainty that things can’t get much worSe.

Things are looking pretty bleak for Tim Drake (aka Gotham vigilante Buzzard). He’s a high school dropout, he failed to save his parents’ company without outside help, his family home is gone, Jason Todd hates him, he’s taking advantage of the hospitality of Bruce Wayne and his family, and the ‘secret’ part of his secret identity is hanging by a thread. And now he’s been kidnapped by half the rogues of Gotham.
But enough about him. Dick Grayson’s finally back in Bludhaven, and he’s ready to — wait, why is Roy Harper here? And why is Dick’s apartment furnished, all of a sudden?

Thank you for new chapter! I loved it, adding in Roy is cool ( I really like how you just add these dc characters in despite not plannin on it originally).
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I added Roy as one of Tim’s bodyguards as a bit and then realized I really enjoy writing him, and I’ve always been a fan of his dynamic with Jason so he just kinda became a major part of the chapter
