    ❛ mimzy my love ! ❜ arms open wide in welcome greeting. the tap tap tapping of red sole patent brogues quickly approached the front desk of the hotel lobby. a violet tug from a ghastly shadow tearing the slumbering pink spider settled on the chair off of it from behind the counter. and with sentient enthusiasm would drag the screaming figure to another part of the premises leaving a spinning chair that the Radio Demon halts with a firm grip of his hand.

    crimson eyes aglow with merriment at his surprise visitor, Alastor would lean forward and prop an elbow on mahogany. with a smile only for his flapper gal he gestures to her, claws folding into the palm of his hand. ❛ and what brings such a fine canary to this dive? ❜

Mimzy greeted waggling her small dainty fingers at the tall man clad in thier crimson suit.  Upon her arrival to the front desk was offered a seat which she took ever so kindly.

“Aww, such a gentleman ~ .” She cooed a thank you to the demon, completely unawares of the previous occupant who mere seconds ago had been napping on the very cushion she now occupies with her bottom, ah nice and warm!

“It’s been an age since I last ya waltzing downtown, startin’ to miss that fierce complexion of your, how have you been honey?”

{ Howdy everybody!  I hope everyone’s Friday is going well!

So, first thing’s first; I am by no means ‘dead’ if anyone had assumed such I apologize.

Have I been busy?  Yes and No.  I have been here, well lurking to be more specific.  My attention and priorities have shifted to video games, been knee deep in that, as well as writing for another fandom *coughfinalfantasyfourteencough*

Have I lost interest here?  Nah, I’ve written and drawn a few things here and there I just needed a bit more of an inspirational boost from other content and some good heaping of motivating myself.

Now you’re probably wondering what the real reason I’ve been absent besides my attention shifting to other forms of media. }

{ Months ago, I was battling... breakdowns?  Or rather my body was becoming acutely aware that not only I was lacking sleep, working a nine to five, being up twelve hours and only working eight of them every single week, my anxiety was going into overtime.  Mind that this has happened before, for years actually and I finally decided that I need to seek professional help.

And then everything changed when the world turned upside down.

Fortunately I was still able to be seen by the doctors finally able to be diagnosed properly.  For the longest time I had assumed my ADD/ADHD was the issue, I do indeed have ADHD, less than from was the main problem.

I have anxiety; GAD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

What does that mean?  In easy terms, constantly feeling nervousness and fear, going to a new job, meeting new people, whether or not people will like you or what you make.

In a harder terms; I am constantly nervous and feeling fear no matter what it is I try to due be it writing, drawing, talking to friends new and old, finding a new job or about what I will be doing five years from now.  Heck it took hours to write this because I was imagining how this post would be perceived.

I am predicting results, constantly, more bad than good.  How people will react, what people will say, what they won’t say, will it be good enough for them, good enough for me. Scenarios that are not physically factual, or true because they do not exist; everything is in my head. Meanwhile on the outside I am paralyzed, not doing anything, no motivation when I’ve imagined the probable outcome.

Not only that, my doctor has told me I have a strong imagination... so combined that with anxiety and some past, mental trauma depression on the side... You’ve got yourself a recipe for cooking your own worst enemy.

Currently I am not working, I have been working with my father on odd jobs here and there, keeping the house clean, distracting myself with hobbies while problem solving my anxiety.

It’s been going well so far, best part is what I thought I lost had always been there in terms of creativity.  I am no where near where I want to be, but I feel better knowing now what I have to do now to curve this problem.

So, that’s... it?  I can’t think of anything else to say right now... thanks for your patience with me.  I have a good ton of prompts I have saved that.. I never replied to, no idea where to start.  Not to mention a few dabbles I’ve had sitting in docs for MONTHS that need finishing, but I’ll think of something!
