Mamma mia, here I go again…

After years, YEARS!!, not writing or reblogging anything about Black Sails, it only took me one lazy afternoon and a little BS pairs meme to go deep down into the Blint rabbit hole (again). And oh ma’am, what a beautiful and tragic hole it is. It has me reading fanfictions and revisting all my posts about the pair (I didn’t remember all the things I used to elaborate and the length of my metas about them…🤦🏻‍♀️) But most important, I have come to revisit Billy’s fate again, and I can tell, undoubtedly, that I still keep that soft spot for him. My poor baby…

To everyone who beared with me during the whole show, thank you for everything, even though we haven’t talked ever since. It was a pleasure to live the hype from one season to another and share those amazing reflections and conversations with all of you. And to all the new people out there, please do yourself a favor and watch Black Sails, it will wreck you and you will hate me for that later. You’re welcome.

Hear me out! Season 3 Colin Bridgerton’s leading man look is going to include a mane in it. I kind of thought about it when I saw a post on Luke’s instagram where he said he “missed his luscious locks”, and telling by the pictures, they appear when his hair grows… and let me tell you… he looks very distinguished with them…

This gif just gives me the hints that I needed!

From boy band to leading man…. Please bring back Colin’s season one’s aesthetic, please. The sideburns and the toupee  looked so goon in him…

all I’ve been able to think about since the announcement is actually getting good Polin content. A real dance. Set to a song meant for them. Colin giving her actual lusty gazes. Colin reciprocating feelings. A real first kiss. on screen. gif sets of their first kiss. a whole 8 hours of their story. maybe even getting?? TWO DANCES? so we get TWO SONGS? The bridgertons watching Colin and figuring it out on their own (and probably before him). Actual reaction shots to him saying “we’re just friends.” watching Colin fall in love for real instead of in my head. A real carriage scene. And potentially getting all of this in 10 months time. I’m dying I think

Agree to all of this.  Plus, once Penelope gets rid off those tacky dresses and wears more flattering ones, with beautiful green or blue colors, and they share their first dance after they make up as “friends” and before any kiss happens, I want Colin to tell her he misses those dresses, cause despise being tacky and yellow they are part of who she is and what she means to him.

My theory is that he likes those dresses because it was always easy for him to detect Penelope in a crowded room because of their bright colors, and somehow he had grown used to the way they suit her. And I treasure this idea because it gives credit to Portia and the reason behind the choice of those outfits for her daughters, because for her the brighter they are, the more attention they will draw towards them. In this case, mama knows best, even if it is Portia Featherington.

Drive me crazy (1999)

AI have recently rewatched, after almost 20 years, one of my all time favorite movie  (Drive Me Crazy by John Schultz), I have gone back to my teenage years and now I can’t escape from this film!!

It has one of my firsts OTP. Let me introduce you Nicole and Chase:

She is a popular-highschool spirit girl. He, an alternative grounge boy. What more can I say?

The plot is a story as old as time: 

Girl and boy are neighbours and were best friends in school. After years of not acknowledging each other in higschool, they decide to fake date in order to get their SO jelous. What could go wrong?

I coud go on and on about this film. About how, for me, the most important lesson you get from it is that even though you think you know yourself, it’s not until you get in contact with your inner child (or you reconnet with people who knew you back then) that you really get to kown what or who you want. It’s like coming back home after a long and tiring day… 

Anyways, I don’t know what I’m saying, I guess I’ll go and rewatch the film again.

Aesthetic: I have never understood what having an aesthetic means… but I guess it means something that gives you a kind of aesthetic pleasure. In my case it would be convination between colors, contrasts in particular; shadows and silhouettes; anyhting that doesn’t make sense visualy; anything kitch or tacky... that kind of things.

Whatever happened in London 1941, stays at Aziraphale’s bookshop

Ok, I don’t know if someone else has seen this but I need to talk about something...

First, let’s take a look at this images of episode one…

Here we are at Aziraphale’s bookshop before Crowley calls him to inform him about the Armagedon...

Do we see something out of place? 

Something Aziraphale wouldn’t wear??

Something that would never match his outfits hanging from his coat rack??

Something like this ‘black hat??’

Could this hat be Anthony “I'm stepping on consagrate ground just to save your bastard ass” J Crowley’s?? 

I mean, could it be this same hat??

Could it be that after the softest moment of them both, when Crowley saves Aziraphale’s books and softly and gently says “lift home?”, they actually got to Aziraphale’s place and spent the night together and Crowley left his hat there??? 

An Aziraphale keeps it in his coat rack for, like, ETEEERNITYYYYYYYY???

Like, why would he do that for if it wasn’t a high pick romantic moment for both of them?? 

Just as Crowley keeps that eagle sculpture at home, Aziraphale keeps Crowley’s hat in his shop...

And also, after saving Aziraphale’s books it hurts me to see how Crowley can’t bear to look Az in the eyes cause the angel knows what he has just done. He knows that this is when he has shown Aziraphlae how much he means to him, and he has finally realised he is in love with the demon…

and Crowley is just like: act cool… you are as smooth as silk, so now ask your angel if he wants you to ride him home, and goes: “lift home?”

I swear to you that I just can’t handle these two!
