We’re delighted to officially announce the Romione Kinktober Fest 2025, with official rules, prompts, and more exciting details!!
We will reveal one prompt a day!! ROMIONE KINKTOBER FIC HYPE
To build excitement for Romione Kinktober, we’ll be revealing one prompt a day just to get our noggins jogging! Think of it as a little daily teaser to get your ideas flowing. We’ll do our best to post one each day— and since so many of us are diving into Romione fics right now, feel free to drop your favourite Romione recs within the theme! Let’s keep the inspiration going
Drop your fav Romione fic/fanart recs for each revealed prompt, and we'll be sure to shout it out to send some love the author/artist's way 🙌
The rules for this fest:
Participants can choose to submit a fanfic, fanart, and/or comic. They can submit any of the above, or different entries of different categories.
The submissions must have Romione (Ron/Hermione) as the main pairing. Please respect that this is a Romione only fest. This means no Romione breaking or Polyamorous-Romione.
No Ron and/or Hermione bashing.
The submissions can be made on AO3 or Tumblr.
For Tumblr submissions, the submission must list: the main pairing, rating, major warnings, and all necessary tags. A brief summary and word count must be listed for fics, and a small intro/description for art/comic submissions.
This is a kinktober fest, so all entries must be rated Mature or Explicit on AO3. Ratings must be specified on Tumblr.
Tag everything; anything even remotely kinky must be tagged to warn others and make convenient the filtering of squicks.
The fest does not require a minimum word count
The work must be an original work that has not been published until fest reveals.
Do not cross post works onto other collections until we reveal our fest’s submissions.
Participants can choose to submit any number of entries. There is no cap.
Authors can choose to remain anonymous by opting for it in the sign-up form if they do not feel comfortable sharing their work with their main pseuds. works with their pseudonym.
All entries must be submitted two days before the pertaining prompt’s reveal day.
Wildcard entries don’t have a deadline but must be submitted before October 31.
Kinks vary. If something’s not your cup of tea, just scroll past. No kink-shaming. Let people create safely and confidently. Follow: “Your kink is not my kink" (or YKINMK), Don’t Like, Don’t Read. If a kink is your trigger, please avoid interacting with all submissions revealed on that day.
