so how long do you think the mindwipe took
Finished my wip :) light source? what light source? LMAO I’ve succumbed to the fact this fandom is just me and like six other people and we’re gonna have some fan content goddammit. Anyway this piece drove me crazy and the shading on zayne in general is just doodoo but I rlly just wanted to draw jarael so… LMAO sorry king at least ur straightbait gf is bad
I just love drawing her so much
if Revan met and befriended Zayne Carrick they would absolutely use him and his crew tactically during the war. Need chaos sewn among mandalorian ranks? send them off with a disguise kit and sit back to watch the show. Need the mandalorians off a planet? apparently all they need is a pot of stew and prep time. Just need things to go wrong in general? well, you see their dear friend Zayne has a penchant for causing problems for people in his genral facility.
they could be so powerful together.
also i think they would have great fun being chaos gremlins together pre war.
HANG ON so. I was taking a break from writing my thesis by looking for tiny funny background Malaks in the comics as one does and suddenly something occured to me.
Malak has magic tattoos. I mean the real reason is because they fucked up and just forgot but it's funnier to just take this at face value for now.
So in Issue 31 we first see Malak with his signature tattoos (and he uses the name Malak for the first time but that matters less.) (Also he looks kinda fucked up but don't worry about it)
In this scene we have Malak, Shel (the pirate looking lady but she doesn't really matter for my point), Vander and Vrook discussing the Zayne situation. Vrook in particular is being his cheerful self and is mad about Malak and "his cursaders"
Alright, speed forward through to issue 38 when we see Malak next. The Covenant situation is dealt with, we're done with the main plot, now we only have companion quests to deal with. By which I mean Jarael. Don't worry about it. Point is, our heroes have also not seen Malak in a while, and he shows up in a funky new ship, all elated because Revan's crusadors have been legitimzed, and he (or rather Ferroh, the other Jedi but whatever) tells the stoy of how, namely through proof of the massacre of Cathar, and we the readers politely get to see it drawn. This is one panel of it, showing Malak and his funky tattooed head next to what i can only assume is long neck Revan but whatever.
And then in the next panel he's in, after Revan picks up the Mandalorian masks and triggers a group vision...
blank head!! Nude!! Nothing there!! And it stays like that for the rest of the story flashback. Him and his shiny head.
:)
So yeah this is because the artists forgot to draw the tattooes, but I think we should come up with in-universe reason for this because i do think it's hilarious.
