Had every excuse not to work today. Long day after a family event—tiring but honestly, it was a good kind of tired.

Came home, took a nice shower, cuddled up with the little love of my life, and let my thoughts wander… Then I remembered someone who betrayed me and BAM—knocked out real quick.

Sometimes rest hits different when your peace is louder than the noise.

Lately…

I’ve been going through a lot—more than I let on. Caught between two emotions that are hard to name but easy to feel: painful and draining.

Some days, it feels like I'm holding it together just enough to keep moving. Other days, I don't feel like I have much of a choice but to keep going anyway.

It's heavy. It’s quiet. And it’s real.

Healing Isn’t Linear. I know it’ll hurt a bit today. Maybe heal just a little tomorrow. Some days I’m okay—truly. Other days, the melancholy creeps in quietly. But I’ve come to accept that it’s okay to feel all of it. The good. The heavy. The in-between. This is what healing looks like—messy, real, and deeply human.

And that’s okay. :)

I’ve carried the weight of silence for far too long, trapped in a one-sided version of “love” that only served to imprison my spirit. It took me time, pain, and clarity to realize that no matter how much you give, if you’re the only one holding it together—it’s not love, it’s captivity.

Even if it means walking away from what once felt familiar, even if it means making hard decisions that others may not understand, I owe it to myself to choose freedom, peace, and healing.

So no, I’m not staying. Not now. Not tomorrow. I’m moving on—for me.
