This started as a Silver birthday comic, but it kinda evolved from there. I was talking with my sister about what Silver’s first word was, which I then turned my ramblings into this comic! I’m really proud of it, especially how it looks as I tried really hard to use lots of manga techniques in it and I think it adds to the nostalgia…though I did reuse some lineart for the last page. I like to think that not only was that Silver calling Lilia ”father” for the first time, but Lilia calling Silver “son” for the first time as he might not have been sure of his role in this human’s life that he found.

May they always be together and happy! 😭

A little bit of magic ✨

My final dtiys prize for is of Malleus in his Scalding Sands event outfit! This was such a fun outfit to draw, and it’s actually one of my favs for Malleus due to the colors! I had a lot of fun playing with the lighting for this piece, so I hope you all enjoy the difference from my norm.

I originally just planned to have him rubbing a lamp, but then I decided to spice it up with a little magic smoke dragon emerging from its slumber. I tried some new brushes for the clouds and I like how they turned out here. Anyways, I’m off to start on either some pieces for my twst ocs, Diasomnia, or Savanaclaw…we shall see which happens 😂

To One’s Roots 🍃

Another completed DTIYS prize for featuring the one and only Rook Hunt in his Savanaclaw fit! I always thought it was the coolest twist that he was actually sorted into Savanaclaw and then transferred into Pomefiore after meeting Vil. I wish Leona would drop more memories about Rook’s time in Savanaclaw just to hear some silly tales of first year Rook 🤧

As for the piece, I tried to go with some vivid colors that fell towards the green side for the piece! I’m surprised by how many layers this piece ended up being, but I tried to sort out the shading and highlights on multiple layers rather than just doing them on the same one. I’ve got one more DTIYS prize to draw and then after that….I’m hoping to start on a long awaited project 🦁

Slipping Through My Fingers 🩷

Had to do an alternate version of my last piece with Silver alongside his parents! I tried to keep the colors in line with pinks and blues in order to stay with the Sleeping Beauty vibes. Also, I put in little nods to Silver’s unique magic with the birds spread throughout the piece!

I will always love drawing Silver’s mom, Queen Leah, her design is so pretty…it’s a shame that she’s shown so little in the game. Going to work on finishing my DTYIS prizes and then…we shall see! I’m thinking a Heartslabyul piece…or perhaps Pomefiore 🤔

Slipping Through My Fingers 💜

Back at it with more Maleanor! I really love the recent artwork for the upcoming release of Nicole from Genshin Impact, so much so that I was inspired to put a twst twist on it! I’m a big fan of the idea that Raverne, Maleanor’s lover who disappeared, is secretly Crowley in disguise, so that’s why I put him in the background.

The composition of this piece was so fun to do, I love how it looks like a fancy poster. The hardest part of this piece was getting the colors just right, but I think I’m happy with the final result. Might be working on a part two of this piece involving a knight who has a birthday tomorrow…👀

Sleeping Beauty 💙🩷

I’m so excited to show you all this finished piece! Ever since I saw one of the concept art’s from Sleeping Beauty, I just knew I wanted to put a twst twist on it! Here we have the Knight of Dawn and Queen Leah watching over their son as he meets Lilia Vanrouge. I’m so obsessed with the two of them even though we see them for such a brief time…one day I’ll write another comic for them.

The colors were the most fun with this piece! I tried to keep everything true to the original concept art, so I got to play around with some unusual colors for skin tone and clothes, which was cool to do! I hope you all enjoy this piece as much as I did making it!

Game. Set. Match. 👾

Back with another pixel piece, this time inspired by the end of Book 6 and Undertale! I always wanted to do more pixel pieces, but just didn’t know what to do for the concept. I tried to make a pixel brush to make life easier, but I ended up not liking the brush, so I ended up placing each block individually…which was very time consuming 😅

Overall, I really like how Idia turned out, especially the shape of his hair! I feel like I could have cleaned up Vil’s sprite more as it’s a bit hard to decipher, but I tried my best. There’s a couple of easter eggs in this piece so pay attention to the numbers in the piece and see if you can decipher them all! 🤔

Dream On 🌸

It’s been awhile since I drew Silver, so here he is! I was inspired by the cover of the ending song for the new anime Agents of the Four Seasons! I thought the cherry blossoms on the water kind of reminded me of Silver’s unique magic. I used I don’t know how texture brushes for this piece and I really like how the water and cherry blossoms turned out!

I really adore the story and art for this series, so much so that I read all the light novels except the newest one. Low-key made an au based on the show where Silver is spring with Sebek as his guard, Floyd is summer with Jade as his guard, Epel is autumn with Vil as his guard, and Malleus is winter with Lilia as his guard. If I’d actually draw this au, I’d omit the romance from the series, but really ramp up the Diasomnia fam angst…because why not 🤪

In Celebration of You 🍓

Back at it with another prize from my DTIYS for @! This one features Sebek in his new birthday outfit and my take on it! His outfit is one of my favorites from the new birthday series, it’s just so adorable. I really like his hairstyle and the particular shade of red in his jacket/suit.

The colors of this Sebek birthday card are just so good! The pink really makes me want Sebek in the Deuce hometown event outfit with all the ribbons. Next up, I’m going to take just a short pause on my DTIYS prizes to finish up this Book 6 pixel piece that I’m working on! 🥳

Out of curiosity, If Trey and Riddle are on the Queen's Court in your TWST X Neverland AU. Where's Chenya?

Also since Vil is a merman, does this also mean Neige is a merman too?

Chenya and Neige are both in my Twisted Neverland AU, but they haven’t shown up yet! Chenya is living amongst the other Beastmen on the mainland of Neverland, but he used to hang out with the pirates all the time…until Riddle banned him from the ship as he encouraged rulebreaking amongst his card soldiers. We will be seeing him soon in my fic…which I hope to update before the end of April.

As for Neige, in this AU he is a merman and is Vil’s brother! Their mother sadly passed after having Neige. So their little family is Erik, Vil, and Neige. Vil is the Crown Prince, ready to take over the kingdom when his father deems him ready; however, the public finds him cold and distant, so there is some sentiment that Neige should be the next ruler rather than his brother. Neige meanwhile just adores and loves his brother, wanting nothing more than to be with him…but Vil pushes him away often.

The first of my DTIYS prizes! This one features Sebek and Malleus on a stroll during club activities with Sebek joining in for the day. I was so excited to draw the Gargoyle Club uniform as it is one of my favorites from the club card series! Plus I got to draw Sebek in the uniform all flustered, which was so cute! 🤧

I really like how this piece turned out from the lighting to the colors, it was so fun to work on! Going to continue working on another DTIYS prize, so stay tuned to see what comes next! 👀

Housewarden meetings at RSA be like 🍴

Something silly that I wanted to draw as an excuse to draw Rielle and Minajael together! Referenced the iconic dinner scene from the Little Mermaid with Rielle as Ariel and Minajael as Eric. Minajael seems very laidback so I like to think he’d find Rielle’s overeagerness and curiosity as endearing 🥺

The details of their clothes drove me crazy, and I might’ve forgotten one or two, but I still really love the clothes for the new characters! I’m really looking forward to the reveals of the other RSA characters, so I hope they are soon! Anyways, off to start sketching Vil’s birthday piece!

The 7th Prince of the Coral Sea, Rielle Corallia 🧜‍♂️

Ok the new RSA designs in twst are so much fun and I’m excited to see more of them be revealed…hopefully we don’t have to wait too long! I actually prefer Minajael’s design over Rielle’s…but he’s just too cute that I couldn’t resist drawing him right away! I really like his hair, the style of it is so unique for twst, plus I love the addition of the dinglehopper.

Working on one more post for the new RSA boys that’s silly and allows me to draw Minajael. Other than that, I’m wrapping up a couple of sketches for my dtiys winners that I’m hoping to send out by the end of this week, but we shall see! 🤪

Challengers Approaching ‼️

After my latest reel, I got back in the Pomefiore mood, so I drew a little something for Book 6 since the trio is featured there! I wanted to play around with the phrase “playing into your hands” with Pomefiore in the middle of Overblot Idia’s open hands in this piece. Originally, I was going to draw angry expressions on Pomefiore, but I liked it better with no faces in the end and just went with the silhouettes.

I played around with a lot of my texture brushes on this piece and I like the layered effect of the final product! I still have so many new brushes to try out, so I’m excited to keep making more pieces with these new hope y’all enjoy and look forward to whatever comes next! 🤩

Off With Your Head 🥀

Been a while since I’ve drawn Riddle, but here he is in all his glory! Here I wanted to play on his unique magic, “Off With Your Head,” by having it used against him…symbolically. I like to think that some students were so done with Riddle, that they took it out by defacing his portrait as a way to stand against him. I could see this taking place either right before, or right after, his Overblot seeing as that was when tensions were the highest.

I almost painted the words, “Off With Your Head,” around the portrait, but it felt too on the nose. The lighting was really fun to play with here along with the various shades of red in this piece! I always enjoy drawing Riddle, so getting to draw his portrait was relaxing to do. Anyways, hope y’all enjoy! 🤧

Blessings Wait for You ✨

Couldn’t help but draw one more page from Durin’s story quest from Genshin Impact but with Malleus! Here we have basically the end of Book 7 with all three of Diasomnia working with the Housewardens in the final battle against Overblot Malleus. I really adore the storybook aesthetic, it’s so fun making something look so soft!

It was fun getting to draw all the Diasomnia crew and Housewardens…even if it was just their hands lol Drawing this little snippet of all the Housewardens kind of makes me want to try doing a piece with all seven of them fully in the piece…even though that would probably take ages! Anyways, hope you all enjoy!

At Arm’s Length 🖍️

Back with another piece inspired by Genshin Impact! This one takes inspiration from Durin’s story quest and the storybook that accompanied it. Malleus and Durin both are so alike with them being dragons that go from a beginning steeped in loneliness to seeking and fostering connections with others. I wanted to make a storybook page that showed Malleus entering NRC to find friendship, but the looming shadow of his lineage keeps everyone at arm’s length.

I tried some new brushes with this piece in order to give a soft, storybook feel, and I ended up really liking them! Chibis have always been tough for me, but I like how Malleus and the others turned out here, I tried for an Animal Crossing feel mixed with the chibis from the twst anime. I hope you all enjoy! Currently working on a dramatic lighting Vil piece, so that should be next…probably 😂
