I feel like the whole thing in dragons rising season 4 part 1 with lloyd not being the first green ninja and having a responsability to the whispering woods, would have been so much better if they had tied it to him being the elemental master of life instead.
Like they kind of did it in all but name. The important bit for this arc are lloyds powers, not his spinjitzu or other ninja skills. But the dragon says its the Legendary Green Ninjas duty.
They should have left the green ninja with the ninjas and the whole prophecy stuff from the first few seasons and reveal instead that the green ninja from prophecy happens to be the elemental mastsr of life who it turns out has other responsabilities. It doesnt even matter to the arc that he's a ninja, so why insist on tying it to the legendary green ninja???? Every green ninja apparently came and did the ritual for the forest but like whos gonna guarantee every elemental master of life becomes a ninja????
I think this wouldve also worked better for the whole "finding out what lloyds elemental power actually is" bit. Because we finally what it is and surprise it comes eith a whole bunch of stuff that we didnt see until now because we were focused on lloyds ninja side and nlt his elemental master side.
