           SHE DOESN’T WANT TO MOVE ,   either ,   but   AT LEAST   she’s in her own bed .     arthur ,   meanwhile ,   is invading hers .     she knows her bed is comfy ,   but still !     “ you didn’t finish the story , ”   she argues .     SHE WAS LISTENING .     arthur made a big deal ,   when she first got here ,   about learning to sit still .     about listening .     now that she’s finally good at it ,   he won’t even finish the stories he starts !      “ i don’t wanna go to bed .     i wanna know where the mouse is hiding at the end . ”     max sits up more as arthur starts moving away ,   like she’s prepared to give chase if he tries to leave .     “ what’s guppy ? ”
