BIG TIDDY ARTHUR MAKES A RETURN @seasreign

❛ I was there, you know, when it fell. ❜
The day Atlantis fell, sinking into the ocean taking hundreds with it. She was one of four nowadays who could say she was alive at the time. One of two who could say she witnessed it firsthand, ❛ I wasn't in Atlantis at the time but, I was nearby on the shore. Garnet and I were dealing with corrupted gems as usual and then it happened. The ground began to shake and the water become choppy, eventually each structure gave way. I've been through plenty of horrific and traumatic things within my lifetime, believe me. But nothing will ever replace seeing it fall. I couldn't even begin to explain what it sounded like. It was a sad day, for Atlanteans and gemkind. We didn't have an alliance but, we were at peace with one another. ❜
“ so you’re one part of the super friends club, huh? good for the bat, getting along with others finally. “ -------------------------- @seasreign ⁞⁞ ❮ arthur curry. ❯
shit, shit, shit! she’s caught. ro’s been having such a good morning, too. so far she’s gotten ahold of three wallets and one businessman’s very nice rolex. she’s not sure what possessed her to try pickpocketing this massive guy, but she shouldn’t be surprised that she hasn’t gotten away with it. rowan freezes and looks up at him with wide doe eyes - it only adds to the deer in headlights vibe she has going. “uh - sorry,” she blurts as she extends his wallet back to him, “so sorry about that. i’ll be going now.”
@seasreign // discussed starter!
“ if you dont hold still, this is going to be a lot worse, ” the blonde reprimanded. she never thought that her ‘vacation’ would turn into a weird game of operation, that was for sure. her mothers beach front home was no better than a makeshift operating room since she had moved all the furniture out of the way to make room for the very large man to lay down. the white towels under him soaked up the blood as she used her forceps to try and pull out the bullet from his back. she had worked on bodies like his back in new york and it would be worse to leave the foreign object inside of him, though she did wonder if his body would heal over it or slowly ( and painfully ) push it out. she straddled his thighs to get a better angle since she didnt have anything elevate him on. “ what kind of bullet is this, anyway? ” it was much bigger than she was used to seeing, the entrance wound and fragments were nasty. @seasreign hit the heart
❛ i don’t get what the big deal is! it’s just a BIG fork, calm down, arthur. it’s not like i’m going to steal your wife or your crown. ❜

“i’m terribly sorry to ask on such short notice, but i very much appreciate you agreeing to help.” charles blows out a sigh. the whole prospect of the afternoon ahead seems ridiculous in theory - aquaman, of all people, teaching swimming lessons to a handful of mutant children. but, charles supposes, this is better than himself trying to instruct them poolside. and the students had been so insistent. “we’re hoping to start a water polo team in the coming months. i don’t suppose you have any free time to coach?” he’s only halfway kidding.
@seasreign - this is almost crack.

“You think I'm being paranoid, but the truth is, I'm worth a lot more to Him dead than alive,” she smirked as she said it, and took another drag of her cigarette — like she didn’t just admit her own Father would rather see her gone than alive and well. She was used to it. It had been like that for so long, she didn’t even remember what it had felt like to be loved by Him. She didn’t remember much at all anymore, what it was like to be an angel, or even what HEAVEN was like. Those were memories belonging to a different person. That person was dead. “It’s alright, though. The feeling’s mutual.” She leaned back in her seat. “Why, what is your father like?”
