Have you ever returned to worlds that your parents visited before? Like Hanshin or Outo? If yes, do you explain to their old friends that you're not him or do you play along? Sorry if this question hit a sensitive spot :(

I have never been to Outo, however I have indeed been to Hanshin where Arashi-san seemed to know even before I could say anything.

Some worlds like Piffle though, Ryuo-kun ended up more confused than ever since the first time, Fai-san told him my father, the princess and Mokona were his children. He asked how was Kurogane-san old enough to be my grandfather among other things before taking to me like I was his best friend's son.

Something in-between traditionally masculine and feminine wedding clothes for Fai. He’s told me he adores long sleeves (but that these were very heavy! (really not a surprise considering how many layers this is!)) The dragons were hand-embroidered.

Quite a bit of work, but also a blast to design!

One of my absolute favorite pages from the design sketchbook and the basis for the stunning ensemble Kurogane wore to his and Fai's wedding ceremony in Nihon:

Truthfully, this was something of a collaboration between Princess Tomoyo and myself. I did the design/pattern work, and she produced the outfits. She could have pulled it off on her own, I am sure (as she is very talented!), but I think she wanted to include me as well, for which I am very grateful! (Oh, how I wish I coukd travel between worlds!)

I had a jewelsmith in Piffle create the phoenix motif from fluorite stone (we can source it here a little more easily than in Nihon). I'm told Fai actually cried when he saw it.

Next time I'm in contact with the shopkeeper, I'm going to have to inquire about getting cameras off world if I can't go myself. I would have liked to have edited a video for them! They're all the rage these days, you know!

my mom says she’s not a hugger. but when i put my arms around her on a gloomy day or after bad news she’s the last to let go. my dad says he doesn’t want gifts on his birthday, but i see the way his face light up when i get him a card with a nice message and a box full of chocolate anyway. he’s just a kid inside, still. it makes him giddy. my brother never says i love you. but when i tell him “i just need to finish the dishes before i vacuum!” he wordlessly goes to vacuum the entire house before i can, and if he sees me struggle with a wrapper or a jar or a bottle he mutters ‘c’mere’ and opens it for me without even sparing me a glance. the thing is, people love you quietly, and you love them quietly, and the air is buzzing with tiny but grand gestures & once you look for them, you find them everywhere. i think that’s really beautiful.

Why is it that Fai's hair is so long and not yours or Kurogane's or Sakura's (or Mokona's)? Did you cut your hair in one of the world's you visited? Or maybe someone in the group is in charge of that? (Maybe Kurogane?)

Oh well, that's because Fai-san chose to grow out his back hair. Kurogane-san can cut hair and often done so when anyone's got too long although it's always refreshing to go to a hair salon with those spinning chairs and capes. Otherwise, you're left extremely itchy until you can get you and your clothes washed.
