My selfshipping is a little convoluted; I ship him with my ocsona (Nerine, "Eternalflowershipping" 🌸🗝️), my direct self insert (Dysa, "Faeriekingshipping" 🧸💼), and Myself ("Strawberryfieldshipping" 🌷🌾). Storytelling is a big part of how I show my love for him, but I am also frustrated with some of the conclusions his canon story has taken with him. Shipping him with myself is a way for me to free him from the confines of the story.

I will not follow back people who are close mutuals with other AZ selfshippers (current mutuals excluded... I will never try to control who you can and can't follow, I'm just insane 🙇🏾‍♀️), or people who ship an oc with him / are just generally horny about him (I don't mind the occasional pervy comment though. I'm also a pervert). However, I don't mind being followed by people who have romantic ships with him if we've interacted before, just please respect that I may keep a certain level of distance.

I'm also currently focused on my OC x Canon ship, Paleflameshipping ( L x Otanes ), I consider myself okay ~ selective sharing for them!

"Archived" ships are Diathesterius (Dianthus x Theseus x Asterius (Hades Game)) and Flavispera (Flavio x Prospera T. (Paper Mario)). This doesn't mean I'll never bring them up or draw them, just that it'll be pretty rare!

Re: my crush on flannery as a kid, for some reason I would fantasize a lot about getting trapped together in one of those pitfall traps you'd see a lot in older anime and so even though we were stuck we also had Total Privacy (due to being trapped in the pit) so we'd 😚 each other. If anyone was wondering.

I admit I can be a bit of a jealous girl at times.... I feel very possessive over him 💔 I like to think he's the same way, though. He's not quite a "pretends to be nonchalant" type but he definitely tries to hide how Huge his emotions are 😭 so I also like to think he feels a bit comforted by the fact we have some of the same issues. I don't want him to feel like he has to hide himself around me 🥺

I do worry about ppl going ????? when I talk about my paleflames here cuz I don't think I ever properly introduced them 😭😭😭 but they mean everything. To me. My yaoi that's simultaneously toxic and healthy

Otanes blames himself a lot for what happened to L, but it would have happened with or without him... Still, that guilt makes him struggle to interact with L at times.

Otanes/Lysandre is meant to parallel Nerine/AZ, they're similar but different... Childhood friends who drifted apart (for Nerine and AZ, it was the just due to them growing older and their priorities starting to shift... It would've been the same for Ota and Lys, had Ota not attempted something drastic to try and prevent this from happening). They reconnected later on, though the circumstances weren't the best.

Nerine watched AZ create the ultimate weapon, secretly caring for him during this time. She was unable to stop him, unable to even bring herself to stab him to stop it's completion. Otanes enabled Lysandre's obsession with the weapon, egging him on, even getting his hands on AZ's key. He saw that Lys was slipping and saw it as an opportunity. In both cases they brought out the worse in each other, Nerine's passiveness and AZ's anger, Otanes obsessive pettiness and Lys being short-sighted...

AZ accidentally curses Nerine with immortality and Lysandre does the same to Ota 🥹 though the events themselves are nearly opposites, AZ believing the world is rotten and wanting to Kill Everyone Except Himself (for now) and Lys, well... his whole thing was a very convoluted suicide attempt to be frank.

They're bound together, now. Poor Nerine is doomed towards unhappiness because she is in love with a man who cannot love her in that same way (not to say he doesn't love and care for her deeply, he does, but she'll never be his first priority). But L and Otanes... strangely, despite their circumstances, there's hope for them. There's freedom in their immorality, which is something AZ and Nerine did not have.
